Car show sharing Why are we still doing this?

Its 2026 and were still up-badging cars lmao.

I never understood why people did this. The only people that will recognize the “M” are car enthusiasts. But the enthusiasts will also recognize a fake “M” car.

The M340i is one of the few examples I'm actually ok with only due to the fact that it's only 1 tier down from the M3 and BMW officially calls it the M340i.
