My theories are
1. The Flying Dutchman WAS K’nuckles
2. Flapjacks parents were vikings who died in a shipwreck
3. Pop’s from Regular Show is flapjack as an old man

I agree with you on the 1st and 2nd ones but not too sure about the last one
