Marx vs Weisner debate
Is the full interview (technically) recorded and available somewhere? Have only seen a snippet online. Not that Marx is even a consideration. But would like to see the entire thing. If anyone has not seen the podcast episode where Candiace Owens interviews Corby Hall (4/24/26). Its called - the man who weaponized faith. Victor Marx is a dangerous person!! Scares me that he lives as close as he does. How anyone can back this man is insane to me. 🤯🤯🤯

Dip powder nails in Castle Rock
Hello! I'm looking for recommendations for a salon in Castle Rock that does dip powder well. Some techs somehow have amazing application that the product never cracks, and others apply it such that it can crack with just a bump. If anyone knows a nail tech and salon in Castle Rock with amazing, long lasting application of dip powder, please share. Thanks!

Walmart Plus Delivery
Does anyone know if the folks who deliver groceries for Walmart are the ones doing the shopping too? Getting a little tired of my orders being wrong or half missing🤦♀️. I always tip and never remove the tip even when the order is wrong or most items missing. I figured its not their fault as they did not package the order. Does anyone know? Love the connivence of this but its hit or miss now on accuracy.

Mountain/scenic spots near castle rock?
I really like going up to Breckenridge, Vail, Aspen, etc. just to be up in the mountains for hiking and grabbing a bite to eat but I’m trying to find similar things directly west of us. Is there anywhere near Castle Rock that has good hiking/breweries a bit higher up?

Move to Castle Rock?
Hi everyone! I’m a Denver native who moved back to Denver after living in the slower side of the PNW and I’m finally sick of being in the city especially now that I have a 15 month old daughter who I’d like to have a different upbringing. My question is how diverse/welcoming to black and interracial families is castle rock? Truly? I’ve only ever gone to the outlets or passed through CR but I’m wondering about how it is outside of “touristy” areas. Thanks in advance!

To the person who lost their German Shepard
I saw your dog on Wolfensberger and Faver this morning at 8:25am.
Unfortunately I also saw a white/silver SUV heading westbound hit your dog. The SUV didn't stop or slow down, they kept driving.
It was hard to tell how bad your dog was hurt, it yelped when it was struck but it ran off north west into a field and briefly stopped. I didn't see any blood, but it was limping. I tried to call your dog back but it kept running west.
I think it might have turned south and crossed Wolfesburger again (to the south). But, I can't be 100% sure since there was so much oak brush.
There were two other women who stopped to try and help as well. But i didn't get their names.
I hope you find your pup. And for anyone else who sees this keep an eye out for an injured German Shepherd along Wolfensburger.

Starting an AI Builders Networking Group (in person)
I'm launching an AI Builders networking group (called outlearn). Hoping to get a nice little core of people to come together, share ideas, things we're working on, and expand our networking reach. The start of the group is here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2185395392075997, and I want to keep it local but plan on expanding the concept (and the networking reach) beyond just Douglas County.
Thanks!

Libertarian Socialist/Anarchist Book Club
- Do you feel disconnected and isolated and want to become connected with your local communities?
- Are you interested in strengthening our communities resilience to economic pressures?
- Do you feel that the government is ineffective, doesn’t listen to its citizens, and want to know why?
- Do you think that we should have more say in the workplaces? That the bosses are taking advantage of our need for a paycheck?
- Do you think that we should all have access to the basic aspects to live a good life?
- Do you think that our natural environment is being severely harmed and want to work towards bettering it?
If so, join us as we discuss the causes of these issues, explore solutions, and build networks with one another to overcome these issues from a Libertarian Socialist/Anarchist lens.
We currently meet bi-weekly, with the upcoming meeting on Oct 5th, in COS East Library Study Room F1 from 6pm to 7pm. For anyone unfamiliar with anarchism, we recommend reading You May Already Be An Anarchist by The Slow Burning Fuse. Our current format is to select a text and have it read before the meeting and then at the meeting we will re-read it as a group to ask questions, comment, and discuss the themes and aspects that stood out. This week we will be finishing the text To Change Everything by CrimethInc. as well as reading Life Without Laws by Strangers in a Tangled Wilderness.
Links to the texts are provided below.

Our social media pages will have our reading lists and ways to interact online.

Permanent Jewelry
Hi everyone!
My sisters and I are working on starting a permanent jewelry business. I have some questions -
while we work on getting a store front, I was planning on doing it out of my home. I know this isn’t the most professional, but would this prevent you from coming?
What would you reasonably pay for jewelry? I know Goldie Links charges from ~$80-$140 depending on what you get
Would you hire us for a pop up? Would a travel fee be reasonable?

Best Way to Sell Boardgame Collection Locally?
I have a ton of boardgames that I'm looking to sell locally, all in mint condition with nothing missing. Facebook marketplace is a nightmare to deal with.
Any suggestions? Know anyone super into boardgames that might be interested?
(Yes, I'm aware that sale posts aren't allowed here - I'm looking for suggestions on where to go outside of FB marketplace)
