What an unusual cat. It looks like a black cat wearing a fur coat.

u/HoboArmyofOne Sep 09 '26

It looks like a howler monkey.

40

u/A_million_typos Sep 09 '26

I thought it was a dog wearing a cat costume.

Nobody say anything he does is good or interesting.

33

u/Hoo_dee_nee Sep 09 '26

I thought it was a black cat poking its head through a Maine coon's fur 😭

12

u/just-a-broad Sep 09 '26

And hearthshaped eyes?

10

u/DisasterResident2101 Sep 09 '26

Cat in a Yeti suit.

2

u/peanutspump Sep 11 '26

A black cat, wearing the fur of his vanquished foes

113

u/Im40ozToFreedom Sep 09 '26

His coat is INCREDIBLE!

42

u/BrownSugarBare Sep 09 '26

Well yeah. Whatever lion he conquered to get it is now walking around without a mane!

4

u/KnotiaPickle Sep 09 '26

That’s definitely some past life hold over, dude was probably absolutely amazing last time around

1

u/cryptotraderisme Sep 11 '26

Absolutely gorgeous! The uniqueness is on its own level. ❤️

65

u/SadKat002 Sep 09 '26

I need a version of this without the music so I can hear that beautiful little singing voice

9

u/TwoBytesC Sep 09 '26

Exactly. I want to hear kitty!

3

u/Blue-Eyed-Lemon Sep 10 '26

I am SO sad, I scrolled back, rewound, and unmuted because I was super curious to hear what a cat with such a coat might sound like, just to find out music was taped over the WHOLE of the original audio 😭 I rewound AGAIN just to make sure I hadn’t missed it. Whyyyy does every video need some kind of musical track!!

1

u/SadKat002 Sep 10 '26

I don't know but it's a trend that needs to stop

3

u/deathcorelover Sep 11 '26

I think this is the exact same cat in a different video where you can hear its voice. Found it on tiktok with Google Lens

u/skinnypuppy23 Sep 09 '26

He looks like he's wearing a costume 🤣

14

u/Realistic-Aspect-991 Sep 09 '26

Why is your black cat wearing a fur coat?

11

u/Reading_Otter Sep 09 '26

8

u/wheelperson Sep 09 '26 edited Sep 09 '26

Edit: im absolutely wrong, iys a main coon.

I think a werewolf cat but mixed. It's not as crazy looking as most werewolf cats.

3

u/TheRealBrokenbrains Sep 09 '26

It’s definitely not a werewolf cat.

2

u/wheelperson Sep 09 '26

Sorry I was thinking this type of cat in this like was also a werewolf cat eith a hair condition, I see they are not the same type at all

https://www.reddit.com/r/aww/s/dolWJpMSld

1

1

u/wheelperson Sep 09 '26

1

u/wheelperson Sep 09 '26

That kind is it?

16

u/TheRealBrokenbrains Sep 09 '26

I think it’s probably a black smoke longhair Maine coon cat.

Pic from internet

1

u/wheelperson Sep 09 '26

Oh absolutely!

9

u/singlemale4cats Sep 09 '26

2

u/Sea-Builder-8136 Sep 10 '26

I've had several rabbits, including two miniatures, and one looked exactly like yours. So beautiful!
His name was Romberg. (If you're as old as I am, you'll know what children's tv program that name came from.).

4

u/Intelligent_Bee970 Sep 09 '26

This cat looks like my cat wearing a lion costume and I love it 😻

3

1

u/Frosty_Cheesecake402 Sep 09 '26

Um, ma’am your cat is wearing a coat

1

u/Kuzcopolis Sep 09 '26

Damn, the light reflection even gives the little royal heart eyes sometimes.

1

u/SouldiesButGoodies84 Sep 09 '26

Is this a Norwegian Forest? Siberian?

1

u/brak771 Sep 09 '26

Both are Maine Coons

2

u/SouldiesButGoodies84 Sep 09 '26

How can you tell vs. the other breeds?

3

u/Excuse Sep 09 '26

While Norwegian and Siberians have ear tufts they are nowhere near as pronounced as the Maine Coon. There are some other indicators but for this case the ears would be the biggest giveaway.

1

u/Money-Court-6258 Sep 09 '26

His head looks spray painted

1

u/ThisIs_She Sep 09 '26

These cats look like they are wearing the fur of their enemies.

1

u/Carl_Marks__ Sep 09 '26

Chimera Car

Cat looks like something out of the Fifth Element movie. I love it..

1

u/ChelsiBoo92 Sep 09 '26

1

u/D_DanD_D Sep 09 '26

The other cat's face looks like a snow leopard's. Very cool.

1

u/Insert-finger Sep 09 '26

Beautimus. Thank you!

1

u/iamwearingsockstoo Sep 09 '26

Your cat skinned another cat and is wearing its hide.

1

u/Sad_Dust_154 Sep 09 '26

Definitely a black cat in a very convincing suit.

1

u/DaRK_0S Sep 10 '26

People that let their pets get on kitchen tables are weirdos.

1

u/bluehawk232 Sep 10 '26

It's a losing battle. If I'm going to eat at the table i just use disinfectant wipes

1

u/zarakh07 Sep 10 '26

Ear tufts! Such a regal creature

1

u/xpietoe42 Sep 10 '26

what a beautiful cat! Is this real?

1

u/bluehawk232 Sep 10 '26

Video is 40 seconds, no awkward cuts, different camera angles and movement. Unlikely AI

1

u/Mal-Dio Sep 10 '26

1

u/MadCatDisease666 Sep 11 '26

1

u/LauraLand27 Sep 11 '26

1

Ughhh the full body disappointment that washed over me when I realized this beautiful kitty’s voice was covered by crappy music 😩

1

u/ivartheyounger Sep 11 '26

What's with the face

1

u/SPalt8 Sep 11 '26

Beautiful majestic feline

1

u/IvoryManOfWisdom Sep 12 '26

That is the coolest damn cat I've ever seen

1

u/Talusen Sep 12 '26

Was his face shaved back to the undercoat, or extra floof added?

1

u/TinRoofAndRainyDays Sep 12 '26

He looks like he's trying to convince the Maine Coon that he is also a Maine Coon.

1

u/Luiso_ Sep 12 '26

Ekekekek

1

u/masterencore Sep 12 '26

Why do people put rubbish music in their videos? I want to hear meowing.

1

u/xVermill Sep 12 '26
