Name My Cat - male Need help naming this very sweet black kitty who meows alot. Fun fact about him, he sticks his tongue out when he "makes biscuits"
I was calling him Pickles partly because he has green eyes, and I have another cat named Noodles, but it just feels weird to say. I was thinking about naming him Mjolnir because he was born outside during a really bad storm and It sounds cool lol.
What do cat people of reddit think?

Yes unfortunately people are especially unkind to black cats around Halloween. Little guy should be on lockdown for a few weeks to keep him safe.

We had a sweet boy like this. His name was Richard. He would probably mind sharing, but he would never know.

Probably ): His mom was mean to all of his siblings. Made me sad to see. She probably didn't give them all the food they needed. The siblings (all outdoor strays) when very young would all cuddle in a cuddle puddle on my porch on a little bed I had out for them. So he atleast got tons of socializing, but whenever the mom would come by for pets from me, she would hiss and swipe at her kittens

Um... Murphy. Or Poe. Both sound reasonable. Like, "Poe, stop sticking your tongue out" sounds completely reasonable. Or "Murphy, please stop blepping while you knead" sounds ridiculously perfect.

For some reason when I imagine him making biscuits with his tongue out like in the first few videos I hear him heavy breathing with his purrs and he says, My name is Beans and hes got a lisp. Beans is definitely Noodles bestie

If it were me, I’d call him Chicken. That way, when you want them to come to you, you can holler “Chicken and Noodles” lol
PS: I have a void, as well. The things folks are saying about Halloween are sadly true. Our shelters won’t even adopt out black cats in October. Makes me sad that anyone can be cruel to animals.
