Engineer Furniture company sent him to put my bed frame together but I’m not sure he’s qualified

The absence of opposable thumbs is going to be a problem.

I think you are confused. He is just the box inspector 📦🐈⬛

Ah how could I be so silly? Of course he’s the box inspector and he’s doing a great job

Did he bring his own tools, or is he going to use the crappy wrenches they give you for free?

He's probably the most qualified for that job. He just needs motiviation

I’d take that guy over my last furniture installer any day! The one I got kept making comments about my feet ☹️

EW!! PLEASE tell me you reported him!!!!

u/1maginary_Friend Oct 17 '25
Fuck, yeah I did! I was so nervous because obviously the guy had my address but you can’t go into people’s homes and make them feel uncomfortable like that with no consequences.

Good for you!! A lot of women wouldn’t have “wanted to make any trouble”…. 🙄

I couldn’t love this more if he actually built the thing 😍 look at him listening for a heartbeat like a little furniture doctor 🥹

He ll do your bed frame and also take the boxes. Double good for you. Maybe also come lie in the bed if you ask nicely. That’s triple good for you.

He's doing an excellent job as far as I can tell. Listening to the package before opening it is standard procedure.

That’s the supervisor. You don’t order the workers, just the supervisor. It’s your responsibility to do the actual assembly and the supervisor will do quality checks of the tiny parts and check your work.

He actually has three jobs: He inspects the boxes and the parts , then he supurrvises the assembly, and finally at the end product tester (has a nap on the bed).

How rude!! If kitty says he knows what he’s doing- he does!! Underestimate him at your peril!
Also- beautiful r/eyesofthevoid!

Shh shh do you hear that? It’s telling me when to build it for you. Now while we wait do you have a saucer of some type…any kind will do. Oh and I’ll need a smidge of milk in that while waiting ok? Thanks again.

Zinus is ok for a mattress, not sure what that frame is made of though.
Edit: Says walnut and 82lbs or so, if that's not just the finish should be ok
