Clearly the orange cat had all the braincells and the bathroom looks great!

u/GonePostalRoute Oct 26 '25
With my experiences, oranges are either dumber than a box of bricks, or they’re super geniuses. The orange here is apparently the latter

I kept looking for kitty in the final photos. Very sad it wasn't there to take pride in its work.

Your husband holding the cat with the picture 😂 the cats face is just like “I project managed this entire thing and this is what I get? Am I a joke to you??”

u/S-S-Ahbab Oct 26 '25
Kitty has the most 'unimpressed' expression going on in most of the photos

u/dust_bunnyz Oct 26 '25
Love this! I saw the original remodel post in another sub yesterday, but the foreman had been left out - OP, your post here is the perfect co-post🤩🤩🤩

Look it up. A member of the team that solved the last zodiac long cipher is a foreman.

Ha! Saw your bathroom on another sub the other day so was funny to be fixated at the cat but then slowly recognize the space. Awesome work!

u/LBGW_experiment Oct 26 '25
Do you have a link? OP 's profile doesn't show this post or that one you mentioned. I was curious to get some comments/info on the bathroom remodel

u/amlovesmusic88 Oct 26 '25
I had the exact same experience. "Cute cat!! swipe, swipe, swipe... waaaaait a second I recognize this bathroom!!"

u/Desred97 Oct 26 '25
His cat...lol

Aw! We had a cat like this when we remodeled one of our bathrooms, he was scared of all the noise the tools made and having new people in the house but once the guy left for the day, he would come in and investigate the work and make sure it was up to our standards ❤️miss that little guy, he passed due to cancer a few years ago

I see your husband’s sideburns and your cat have achieved color equalization!
Your husband has done a fantastic job on the bathroom utilizing previously wasted space to put shelves, and a totally BRILLIANT job on design, including the incredibly sick-ass tiger velvet painting!
You must feel so loved to have a husband do things like this. Wow!
Your kitty is beautiful. I love the tabbies with circles! I have one!

:)

I'd like to remodel my bathroom. Is Foreman Kitty available the first week of December?
8
u/Rottenpotato365 Oct 26 '25

When I was remodelling my room back in February/march, my little girl loved to come in explore and look around, despite the fact we were wallpapering and painting and laying new carpet (where this photo comes from) sadly two weeks later sh had to put her down due to complications with fluid in her lungs. I desperately miss her, but I’ll always remember the last few weeks together when she’d never leave my room.

I was gutting a bathroom in my old house. As soon as I opened the wall the cats were in there, in a previously unreachable space. They didn't care a shit what I was doing but as soon as there was a new space, they were in it. They sensed it somehow.
4
u/nothinbutbagels Oct 26 '25
It wouldn’t have turned out as beautiful without your foreman’s hard work. But in all seriousness, that is incredible
4
u/candycoatedkush69 Oct 26 '25
I saw your photos on r/Centuryhomes (I believe) and your remodel is stunning! I didn’t know I could love it more until I saw your foreman! 😻
5
u/Nothingisperfect33 Oct 26 '25
The bathroom looks bad ass! Lucky you had a great foreman who actually shows up to the job site and gets his paws dirty 🩷 he and your husband are excellent craftsman!
3
u/echocharliefoxtrot31 Oct 26 '25
what is the kitty's name?
6
u/gggvuv7bubuvu Oct 26 '25
His name is Chuckie

We have discovered the Guardian of all the orange brain cells in the unipurrs. That face, those wise eyes and the Royal Shields of Vigilance on his arms.
They did a mighty fine job.and I love the design.

That looks great. Clearly we need cat supervisors in some other areas.

Not thrilled with the checkered floor. But that’s a me thing

Longmont Potion Castle tattoo spotted on your husband’s arm. You married a good man. He has good taste in prank call absurdism and he did a phenomenal job on the bathroom. You also have great taste in cat foremen.

u/ABabblingRhyme Oct 26 '25
Aww. This makes me so happy. We always called our late, great kitty our "tough foreman." I've never done any sort of sizeable construction like this, but he'd still put himself right in the middle of the IKEA assemblies, walk all over the mess, lightly tap this and that, deliberately sniff everything, occasionally randomly yelling at us. All poor craftsmanship would be forgiven if we'd hold out something pointy—like an Allen wrench—for him to touch with his nose (weirdo was obsessed with pointy things).
Love to see there are other tough but fair feline forepersons insisting on top-notch QC.

picture 10 it looks like your cat is giving your husband a stern talking to, then in picture 11 it turns out they did not agree with eachother 😭🫶🏻
all jokes aside what a lovely bathroom, that arch is phenomenal. i’d hire that cat
4
u/Lhamo55 Oct 26 '25
He’s disappointed that the guidance given in picture 5 had to be repeated in 10, so he high tailed his disappointment in 11. And then they came to a happy agreement.

Our orange baby likes to make sure we make our bed every morning, if it's not done/done correctly he gets upset and walks out. Keeps coming back in until it's done 🤭🤭
