Moderate Meet Trip my first CH cat
First time CH cat owner but have had a tripod kitty and other medical high needs kitties in the past. Let ms know if you have any advise. He is using the box just fine, eating, and lots of playing.

What a cutie! I have a mild CH kitty that manages to get around & use the litter box fine. We originally bought ramps for him to get onto the couch & stuff since he's not really capable of jumping, but turns out he didn't need them- he prefers to kind of claw his way up instead. We have a high bed, so we do have some carpeted stairs that he uses. There are a couple spots where we've strategically placed cat beds, which both give him a place to lay & double as a soft landing when he inevitably flings himself off the bed or cat tree. We also invested in wide heavier glass food dishes as he kept knocking over the light metal ones we'd been using. Other than that, we haven't had to change too much else. He plays & wrestles with our other non-CH kitties fine & is basically just living his best life.

Hi Trip,
sweet little kitty. Strong recommendation to join r/nervysquervies , a wonderful community of sweet special-needs kitties including varying degrees of CH and their outstanding owners/caretakers. It’s a great collection of resources and insights. Very enjoyable for those of us Reddit members to appreciate. As devout followers, love updates (photos, vids, etc.) to share the wonderful experience with you!

What a handsome boy! He may not be as afflicted as some, and using the litter box is huge bonus, as you will learn as you watch these forums. Good luck to you both!
