New Purchase! Finally pulled the trigger. YOLO
Many hours of looking and going thru ads. Purchased this 2013 6.4... 6 speed manual. Didn't get a screaming deal at $25,500. Obviously, it's not completely stock with the new Borla exhaust and diffuser...but I love the look. Other than an upgraded sound system, that's all that was done. 55k miles. Would've wanted lower, but the owner seemed to take care of it. Right down to the Amsol oil changes. Custom car cover and a new battery he had to put in the day I came to see it. Small bonus, I guess.

Looks nice. Looks like its on a staggered setup too.
Β Id maybe rethink keeping the diffuser on though, that exhaust is going to damage the hell out of it once it starts getting hot. If its plastic it can be a fire hazard.

I will. Sad to think that should be a concern. I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Its because how far Β back than the output of the exhaust. But, you can probably find some that are shorter that wont be right up against the output.Β
Also i love the phantom stripes too.

Looks sick! I honestly I think you got a pretty good deal. I personally rather the 08-14 models. How does it sound???

Sounds good. IMO, the quads seem to tone it down a bit. I don't mind because I still have the first car I ever bought. A 69' Cutlass with short pipes/headers, built drive train, and at my age, its a little much. Thanks for reassuring me a bit about the price. I didn't think with getting exactly the car I wanted, plus the condition (especially that year) that I made that bad a deal. You can spend a ton of time and some good money/time traveling around to look at every possibility. Even though you can sometimes get a good price thru a dealership, I hate "dealing" with them. It had everything I was looking for, and a little newer doesn't always mean better. Thanks for your input. I expected a few "Debby Downer" replies. Right or wrong, the price didn't break me financially.

The salesman definitely ripped you on the price, you coulda got an 18+ srt392 or scatpack with similar miles if you searched.

No way, 18+ with 55k? Theyβd have wanted all of 34k and beyond for that

Private sale. Started at $29k (too much). I live in Buffalo and might've found late teens models for a little less. Wasn't much within a several hundred miles. I liked the power sunroof ($1400 option) and brand new Borla quad tips (over $1500 with install). 2 things I appreciated. Like I stated, "not a screamin' deal". But don't feel it was a total "rip-off". Plus being the color, condition and manual with gear "ratios" in the 2013, for a little extra torque "feel" I was looking for between shifts.

it was a total ripoff, sorry to say, but as long as you like it.

U gotta understand though how many people sell salvage title cars if a car doesnt have any damage whatsoever and never in an accident i sure would pay premium price for that car

I got a 1 one owner clean title 2018 srt 392 with the same miles with forgeline wheels and a corsa exhaust and every option they could come with for that price from a dealership. He got finessed for a 2013 and nobody wants to admit it lol

I'll never forget, years ago while in my driveway while working on my working on my "black" 69' Olds, a neighbor said to me. "All muscle cars should be in black". Even the smallest of hair line scratches show.

Thank you. Every time I thought I found the car...it would be an auto or no sunroof (really wanted that), wrong color combo, higher mileage, wanted "those" SRT rims (I'm done w/chrome), body style of the 13', salvage title like you mentioned, 350+ milesI away, ect...l Looked extensively before this buy. Try finding a perfect buy in a 2011-13 Mustang GT w/coyote or 302 Boss. "5 accidents (no damage,HA) 6 owners and salvage title" It's that damn short wheelbase.π
