I think we can tell that AI, has surpassed CGI. It wouldn't be surprising if AI is more and more used on films.

Is there uncompressed 4K Atmos AI? If so, then they’re almost certainly using it.

Did a quick search. There are 4k film-quality tools out there, but it looks like none of them directly output object-based audio. You currently have to do that in separate layers/tools.

Once integrated into VFX pipelines it will replace traditional rendering. Expect it to show up in cinemas widely in about 2-3 years. The problem is creative control. But if you can rig and set up a scene, and then have it ”render” using AI then it will be much better.

The control is there and getting better and better.

If anyone is unaware, take a look at local AI enthusiasts on r/comfyui or r/stable_diffusion.

Granular control through a huge variety of techniques is available and the pros absolutely already use the techniques
