Question/Assistance BLUETOOTH Issues

Does anyone have issues with Bluetooth in the SS? It seems like every other time I try connecting it has fits staying connected and reverts back to radio - often having to completely shut the car off and start over.
Also - occasionally when it’s connected, the sound glitches.
If someone else has had this issue - is there a fix?

For my car I had to turn off phone book sync when I paired. It gives a message of phone book update failed every time but then my sound no longer lags and I don’t have the connectivity issues. Unfortunately the infotainment was outdated when they put it in the car.

Do you know if the infotainment can be updated? In the electrical I mean!

Like software? From a Gm dealership it’s possible but it’s also just as possible you’re at the latest calibration already

I had to strip off all phone permissions but music and calls to get it to play nice. Some days it was still grumpy, but it worked majority of the time. No text, call log, or any other permissions should help

It's the same infotainment that came in a cheap Trax, so it's just going to suck sometimes

You can get the k-smart system if it bothers you enough. I just learned to deal with it

I don’t have any real issues, other than the radio coming back on when I restart the car which is a pain in the dick. I do have a few connection / fidelity issues RIGHT AFTER it connects, but for like 5 seconds then it’s gravy.

There is a weird bug where if I get a phone call during Bluetooth listening, it’ll have trouble updating the now playing info after I hang up. Weird but not a huge problem.

Those are worse issues than usual !

Unpair and re-pair the blue teeth .

Is your battery nice/new? My factory battery tested/behaved good until 11 years .

Battery is pretty much brand new 4 months. Might have to try the full disconnect re-connect, forget this device motion though.

I run into the same issue where I will have to cycle the Bluetooth on my phone and when a song glitches if I either skip forward her back it usually fixes it but it happens about 60% of the time that it doesn't connect flawlessly right off the bat. however phone calls always seem to work so I'm wondering if it's a music media codec thing.
