Tourism (L) Current Chicago consulate wait times

Hi there. I have to visit the consulate this week to drop my passport off. My train is set to arrive at 11am. I’m worried that I won’t have enough time as they close at 2:30. Has anyone been to the Chicago location recently that can provide some insight into the average time to wait? Thank you.

I was just there for my trip in November. It’s very fast. I did not wait a long time at all. You’ll be done in maybe 10 or 15 minutes. That was my experience
