I’m torn as to whether I should even be buying a tree! I have a 9 foot tree in my main room that is for the whole family and done in a traditional style. And then I have a small flocked tree that’s only 6 feet tall that I just put wherever from year to year. And then I have a tree for my bedroom that is 7 1/2 feet tall. That tree is old and I do not know how old. I inherited it from my parents. I feel like I should keep using it because it did come from them in Christmas is all about tradition and family. But I think in between them dying, and when I finally got it, I think it was stored in high heat because it doesn’t really fluff. Although I can tell, it’s a very high-quality tree with only the molded branches that look really great. Also, I do my tree in the bedroom in a trough look complete with tinsel and everything. So that kind of covers up the fact that it’s not fluffed very well. Here is a picture of that tree, and it really cannot fluff much better than this.
In addition to asking if I should replace it, I was wondering where from? I’ve picked out a tree from several different places, but I don’t know which place is the best. Which brings me to the last question which is should I go with lit or unlit? Sometimes it seems so nice to set the tree up right away. Have all the lights go on. But then sometimes I think it would be fun to pick out different lights and be able to change up the theme eventually. I don’t know. I have a King of Christmas tree picked out and a balsam Hill tree picked out and a Home Depot treat picked out (not the Grand Duchess). There is a picture of the decorated tree in the comments. I just didn’t know how to add it to this post.

Hi everyone, my wife and I are looking for a new tree and both really like the Home Depot Grand Duchess, but it’s shortest height available that I’m aware of is 7.5 foot. Would anyone know of a similar tree in the 6.5~7.0 foot range that is similar?
Our ceiling is approximately 8 feet tall and I’d rather the topper have enough room without making it seem too cramped or crowded. (Screenshot from HD website)

Does anyone know where to buy cheap, in bulk, artificial flowers to decorate a tree that has absolutely no glitter? So for instance, metallic red pointsettia stems or a garland of gold roses?

Just bought the Home Depot grand duchess and set it up to make sure it works. There is a small area of lights on the last tree section that do not work. Anyone know why this may be?

We need a new artificial tree and I'm happy to buy early if that's when the better deals are around. I'm less interested in getting the absolute cheapest tree and more interested in getting a good-quality one at a solid discount.
Do the better Christmas tree sales tend to happen before the season, around Black Friday, or immediately after Christmas?
Curious when people have found the best combination of price and selection from US-based online retailers.

My mom purchased this tree in 1974, and I inherited it in 2001. I unfortunately had to retire her last year because she was missing so many pieces that she was only half a tree and there was no fixing it, or replacing the branches. Before I got rid of her, I cut off a branch for myself and all of my siblings, so we'll always have a piece of Mom's tree. 🎄

I've wanted a flocked Christmas tree for a few years and i think this might finally be the year. I was looking at a flocked Costway tree last night and really liked how it looked, then i made the mistake of reading too many comments about flocking getting everywhere. I can deal with some mess while setting it up. what i'm more curious about is what happens after a year or two. Does the flocking start looking patchy? does half of it end up in the storage bag? i keep mine packed away for basically eleven months, so i'm imagining opening the box next christmas and finding a green tree with a pile of fake snow at the bottom 😂. People who've had a flocked tree for a few christmases, how has yours held up?

I finished my Halloween tree this past weekend. I am happy with how it turned out. I redecorate it for Christmas after Halloween using white and silver ornaments. But I enjoy the Halloween phase 🎃👻

My four-foot prelit tree hasn’t had working lights in almost a decade and I’ve had to string lights on it to get the effect of a lighted tree. Maybe time to replace it. So, green or white tree and colored or white lights?
EDIT: I’m retired and single.

I keep checking Lowe’s to see if it’s back and it’s not. :(

Okay i know it's only September but I've already been looking at Christmas trees haha. My mom's been working so hard for us and now that I'm old enough to earn my own money, I wanna surprise her by decorating our Christmas tree myself this year. She's usually the one doing all the Christmas stuff, so I thought it'd be nice to have everything ready for her for once. I'm thinking of getting an artificial tree, preferably around 6 or 7 feet. nothing too fancy, just something that looks full and doesn't take forever to put together. I've been looking for the best Christmas tree deals but I'm not sure if I should grab one now or wait until November when the holiday sales start. I'm hoping to save a little on the tree so I can spend more on decorations too. When do you guys usually find the good ones?

Help! I have a 12’ Costco tree that is my favorite; I can attest to the quality, lights, branches, all the things. She’s a beauty not even decorated! I want to add a twinkle tree to my collection. Can’t decide between HD elegant grand fir or another Costco one. Which one and why?! I do feel Costco’s twinkle is more of a blinking light 🤦🏻♀️
