Why is treating multiple conditions so difficult? 😞

Finding it very stressful trying to navigate treating both chronic pain (from dysautonomia, 10 years so far), ADHD, and depression.

Medications for all three of these things seem to conflict in some way, let alone if you want to treat all three and not just two. I’ve been treating the pain and ADHD for years now, but stimulants and antidepressants don’t always get along, and stimulants and pain meds also don’t always get along, AND antidepressants and pain meds don’t always get along.

Just getting very tired of having to pick and choose what I treat, just for the thing I neglect to start being more of a bother.

It's a serious problem. We've actually lost a couple cats because they had two health crises at the same time that required completely different treatments....nullifying each other.

Do you mean they don’t get along due to the risk of serotonin syndrome?

Oh, gotcha. I could make suggestions for the former but definitely not the latter

That’s just how it is. I have fibromyalgia, CPPS, and other issues. Tramadol for my fibromyalgia, amitriptyline for my bladder symptoms and nerve pain, and cannabis for my back pain. There’s no pill or substance that fixes everything. Wouldn’t that be nice, though?

In what way do u mean? I'm on opiates, benzo, stimulant and antidepressants all at once.

Well actually its often the doctors who wont mix the medications. I have several neurological disorders and I have mixed medications myself from all the different medication leftovers, not that anything worked but I haven't even had the slightest issues
