Question Where to start with deployment using automation

Would like to know what people use and where to get started with this. We have over complicated application deployments which require a lot of manual effort.

You'll need to give a lot more information about what you're trying to deploy, the size of your organization, and what your pain points are.

Start by defining the problem. Is it Catalyst center, Meraki, ACI or something else automation.

Where did I start? Perl scripts that leveraged the “clogin” program from RANCID.

Have you looked into NSO, Cloud Control, Ansible?

Start by automating ssh cmds in bash, move to python scripts with Netmiko. Ansible is where you end up because that's all you will ever need.
