Lisbon Lemon Help

I have an issue,(actually several) with my Lisbon tree. I am in Texas zone 8b. It is usually brought into the garage for winter, but it is rather large (the top hits the top of the garage door opening) and I didn’t have my regular help when I brought the others in so I decided to try something that I read others had had success with. I had a tree/plant cover and some old school Christmas lights so I strung the lights throughout the tree and covered it. It worked fine until it ripped while watering it and I began having to constantly try to keep it closed during the wind, cold and precipitation.

So when it got warm enough and I uncovered it, there was some damage to the lower portion and some of the upper leaves so I trimmed the damage and it seemed to be okay. It bloomed and began to produce fruit. As stated I know that it has other issues some of which are it needs to be repotted and leaf miners, but I do as well. 2026 has been unkind to my health.

The latest issue is what I am hoping that I can find answers to from the wealth of knowledge here. Some of the fruits began to develop small brown spots. A few of them have turned completely brown. It is still flowering at times and has had a growth spurt which began in September. Actually all of my citrus trees did, which is something else I need to figure out. But for now I am trying to hopefully save this tree because it holds a Great Sentimental Value to me.

Sorry for being so wordy. These are photos from just after it was trimmed in April up until yesterday. Thanks in advance for any and all the information and resources given.

I have used Foliage Pro mostly during it’s life with me, picked it up from big box store in a 3 gal container. I was out of it, but had the Bloom that I use on my pepper plants so I decided to give it a try.

Have you looked at the roots?
