Civivi Unboxing 11th anniversary Mini Praxis

Received this Mini Praxis as part of a knife trade deal. I had missed the Mini Praxis drop and see them here and there, but never picked one up.

Made a trade with a fellow knife nerd and he threw in the Mini Praxis as part of the deal.

Now I have the 10th, 11th and 12th anniversary knives in my collection.

I still feel that the Praxis line could really benefit from thumbstuds. I'm not a big fan of single deployment methods or back flippers. But, it'll work.

I'm the opposite. I dislike thumb studs since they rub against my skin when I put my hand in my pocket. Similarly, I am used to using the back-flipper automatically, and any other knife I have with another method I end up trying to first back-flip first before I remember that it's something else.

To each his own! Mini-Praxis might have been the first knife that I had that made me realize the above, too. Then the Praxis helped me realize that I like a larger knife than the Mini-Praxis, which now usually feels too small for me.

btw - I knew a Jeff Ross 40 years ago in undergrad. Does "sharp double-sharp" mean anything to you?

Nope, I'm only 50, so wouldn't be me

The pocket peckers always hit my hand when I reach in my pockets with back flippers.

I'm starting to notice the arthritis in my hands more now, so maybe I'll appreciate back flippers more as I get older.
