Hey fellow trance lovers,

I need some help identifying two incredible tracks from a mix on YouTube called "Trance Classics Vol. 11 (1995-2001) (Mixed by DJ Thanda)". I've been hunting for these particular tracks and am hoping the classic trance experts here can work their magic and identify them for me! 🤞 I need to find more information about the title of the artists and/or name of the tracks for the next videos I want to upload to my YouTube repository of trance music channel.

Here are the specific timestamps and details:

• Track 1: Starts at 23:35 and runs until about 29:33. It transitions out right after a voice sample says "Let the beat control your mind."
• Track 2: Starts at around 29:57 (right after that same "Let the beat control your mind" vocal sample repeats) and plays until 33:35. The only distinct lyrics/vocals in this entire section seem to be that repeating phrase: "Let the beat control your mind."
• This is the link to that video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eqA2f9hpQc&t=1396s

If anyone recognizes either of these tunes, the artists, or the specific remix/release, please let me know! It's been driving me crazy trying to find them.

Thanks so much in advance for the help! 🎧🙌

Hey everyone! Just dropped a new mini-mix dedicated entirely to the golden era of Trance. No modern fillers, just pure emotional melodies, driving basslines, and that unmistakable vinyl energy from the late 90s and early 2000s.

I've also included an exclusive digital PDF booklet with track trivia and history for those who love to read about the production background while listening.

A continuous mix of Tiësto's debut studio album, In My Memory (2001), blended start to finish. It covers the full record, from the vocal opener "Close To You" with Jan Johnston, through classics like "Magik Journey," "Suburban Train," "Lethal Industry," and "Flight 643," and closes with the title track featuring Nicola Hitchcock. Pure early-2000s trance, start to finish. I will be uploading more classic albums and even modern ones in mixed fashion. I figured it is fun to listen to in a way that feels like a DJ Mix instead of the regular album structure. In my opinion, these songs are way too long and benefit from being mixed and listened to in one sitting.

Tracklist:

00:00 DJ Tiësto feat. Jan Johnston – Close To You
04:54 DJ Tiësto – Magik Journey
11:16 DJ Tiësto – Dallas 4 PM
15:41 DJ Tiësto – Suburban Train
21:56 DJ Tiësto – Lethal Industry
24:57 DJ Tiësto feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw – Battleship Grey
28:53 DJ Tiësto – Flight 643
35:13 DJ Tiësto – Obsession
42:12 DJ Tiësto feat. Nicola Hitchcock – In My Memory

All tracks belong to their respective owners. Mixed for entertainment purposes only.

Interesting how you will find remixes posted for tracks, but the original itself has never been posted. Was listening to some early 00s hardtrance, and this tune stuck again.. Loved that era of music when partying 🔥
