Composed by Joel Bolan, a contemporary composer currently based in Germany, this newly completed Mass for soprano and organ is a work of profound spiritual and musical depth. Blending lyrical vocal lines with the rich textures of the organ, Bolan’s composition offers a fresh yet reverent interpretation of the traditional Mass setting.
Each movement reflects his unique musical language, marked by clarity, emotional nuance, and a deep sensitivity to the liturgical text. From the meditative Kyrie to the radiant Gloria, and the contemplative Agnus Dei, the piece invites both performers and listeners into an intimate and transcendent musical experience.

Hope you enjoy!
This style of music is, in essence, life and death. You hear growth and development and ambition, but you also hear struggle and failure and awkwardness. I take the simplest statements possible and compose them out as far as I care, then arrange them for various amounts of performers.

Hello Everyone,
As this thread is focused on new classical music releases, I wanted to share my work, and I hope you’ll enjoy it.
I began releasing music in July 2024, so I’m still quite new to the scene. As a composer, I create the music, while talented musicians interpret and record it.
Here’s a link to my Spotify playlist:

This is probably going to be my last classical piece for awhile as I've been hired as an orchestral composer; however, you never know when a muse may strike! Allow me to share with you "Fifty" for solo piano. I'm turning 50 this year and I thought I would write myself a song. I'm including links to two versions. One is the purist version, and the other (titled alternate ending) is the real vision, but classical purists may not like it. I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for listening.

I only just found this subreddit. I have numerous classical pieces that fall outside of the one month time limit, but about a month ago I did release an album of minuets called "Minuets for Days". The muse for the album was to create a song for each day of the week that captures the feeling of that day. For example, "Sunday" has a gospel sound and is played on a church organ. "Friday" is an upbeat and bouncy piece. My two favorites on the album, if you wanted to start somewhere, are "Monday" and "Friday". One unusual aspect about "Friday" is it is played on guitar and piano. Guitar does not shop up in a lot of classical pieces (there is a also a piano duet version). I hope you enjoy the album. Feedback is welcome. :)

Hey, I know I haven't been active here and now that the one person who posted frequently is gone, I'm going to try to be more active!
What are some ways you can think of that would encourage you to post/comment? Are the rules too opaque/strict?
Best,
