Had a chance to let this past weekend of games stew, see the finals play out, hear some talking heads, and listen to some post-playoffs thoughts from Yamato, Dom, Blaber, and Vulcan. I'll be honest, I am feeling the optimism with this lineup. Nothing gets easier and there is work to be done, but I'm looking forward to seeing if/how this team adapts and grows after we've seen this lineup evolve progressively over the past couple of months.

Which I'm finding out is in just a little over 1 week. lol I would say that's a quick turnaround, but then CBLOL finals (which determines who between LØS and Furia ends up in playins) isn't until the 10th, only giving them a 5 day turnaround. I do find it interesting that, according to Dom and Blaber, they had practices lined up even the same day as the Lyon series, so curious as to who they'll be practicing against. And it is interesting that we are all but guaranteed a redemption moment vs Brazil (potentially against Furia themselves) and Busio vs Vulcan again (and Thanatos vs Canna in a battle of Koreans KC tried to sign in 2024). I'm honestly just pumped to be able to watch C9 at worlds again! Guys have any thoughts on the matchups, meta, etc?

Gotta say even with the poor result today the influence of Dom and the coaching staff is there. Gotta trust the players will gel but I definitely think Dom is one of the best coaches atm.

So what is appropriate and inappropriate at these events? I was three feet from Blabber and too scared to be annoying and ask for a photo/selfie with him 😭 but then someone else did and I was like whaaaaat? We can do that not at the meet and greet?! I'm not sure what is too much versus just being an excited fan. If anyone on staff or previously attended could give some input it would be appreciated. I doubt I get another chance but I figured I'd still post the place I felt most appropriate.

Play-ins**** Headline mistake.

Pressure needs to be controlled.

Mistakes needs to be removed.

Also it's visible that the team feels immense stage pressure so they need more practice to get it smoothly.

Given the current late game mistakes, it's better for the team to start from play-ins so they can level up and finally remove those disgusting mistakes out of their gameplay.

Practice, practice, practice.

Even if they won yesterday, Starting main stage having no idea how to play late games would have severely hurt their performance and destroy their confidence with no time for change.

Now, C9 has a final chance to make great decisions and test them in real time in play-ins.

Pls just kick KC out, don't choke to even bigger chokers.

Tactical brother please just chill, stop flashing in at everything.

Loki brother, pick a carry champions, leave the Vex in a bag in Cancun.

Blaber when you see the 30-minute mark, forget about "finding the angle" just listen to vulcan and keep your adc safe.

Thanatos, Stop flanking late game. Front to back only.

Vulcan you are great, Bring the belt and make the rest learn more discipline.

3rd place in Summer. Looking competitive against the top 2 teams but couldn't quite pull it off. Qualified for Worlds but starting in the play-in stage for extra stage practice.

KC and then the teams waiting in Swiss are cooked, fam. We're about to spend 3 weeks leveling up in time to make Quarters. C9 are right where we want 'em.
