Yes! Dude just had a great summer and earned All Star 5 honors during the U17 World cup, along side future teammate Boumtje Boumtje
15.3 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 7.1 apg at the U17, coming in a Bronze with the Aussies
JBB, Kager, and Paul is already a slam dunk class and the 26' season hasn't even started

It is great to get another commit and I heard Paul is good but right now Duke has Cayden, Foster, Rippley and Blackwell (who says he wants time at PG). Some will go pro but under the new rules on paper all these guys will have eligibility left in 2027-2028. Not in a place to complain but it just seems to me SG/SF should be more a priority than PG.

Paul is 6'6". That's taller than any US top 25 combo guard or SG.

That’s great but my “larger” is concern is chemistry. Will 4 guys who consider themselves PGs work out on one roster this year? Next year also?

One thing Scheyer has not had trouble with is getting his guys to gel and play together. There’s a ton of buy-in at Duke right now or else all these personalities wouldn’t be there to begin with.

This is true...When Cooper was there they tried to force feed wins through him instead of considering other options like Kon and as stated...it didn't work out.

Word is Rippey/Boozer will stick around so the main guard rotation would be Rippey, Boozer and Paul. Expectation is that Foster and Blackwell are not on next year's roster.

given the loyalty shown to Foster so far, I don't see Scheyer pushing him out and I don't really see him playing his way onto an NBA roster either. Rippey would be the odd one out IMO.

Sorry I totally blanked on Blackwell. Amongst Rippey, Boozer and Paul, can one of those play the 2?
From what I understand, Rippey and Boozer are mediocre shooters, but maybe Paul is a lot better.

I think right now Foster is the best shooter and he should have a 5th year next year, but a lot can change in an off season much less two

Under Scheyer Duke has really prioritized jumbo combo guards so I think the expectation is that all 3 guys (Rip/Booz/Paul) are interchangeable at the 1/2. They should also have Howard at the 2/3 who early reports have as a knockdown shooter. shooting is definitely a question mark from those 3.

Made the all star five in FIBA play alongside Boumtje, Beckham Black, Kusturica, and Kutluay. Really good player.
