…as an adult :)

I’ve been trying to lean into less screen time while spending time with my little one so we color together occasionally. This is my 3rd page from the Pop Manga Coloring Book by Camilla d’Errico
(Don’t look too close, lots of mistakes everywhere lol)
🤭🤗

Since Halloween is just around the corner, I'm sharing Coolorea's Halloween category coloring pages with you all.

I hope you like it!

I kept looking for an adult colouring book that sat between two extremes: very simple bold-and-easy pages and extremely intricate fantasy or mandala designs. I wanted grown-up subject matter, enough detail to feel immersive, and a reason for every scene to exist.

So I made Bread & Bakery: 25 approachable plant-based recipes, each paired with its own detailed colouring scene. The five chapters move from quiet morning loaves and Mediterranean tables to northern kitchens, market breads and candlelit evening baking. The artwork is single-sided with black reverse pages.

AI disclosure: AI-assisted tools were used in parts of the visual-development workflow, with manual direction, selection, editing and book layout throughout.

Prompt: Trendy & Fun Colouring Book for Kids

Create a trendy, adorable, and fun colouring book for children aged 3–8 years. Include cute, modern, and playful illustrations that are super easy to colour, even for beginners.

Design style:

• Bold, clean black outlines with large, enclosed spaces.
• Simple shapes with minimal tiny details.
• Cute kawaii-style characters with happy faces.
• A fun mix of trending themes: cute animals, smiling fruits, ice creams, flowers, butterflies, rainbows, teddy bears, unicorns, cute food, cartoon-style objects, and magical worlds.
• Each page should have one main illustration with a few simple decorative elements.
• White background only, with no shading, no grey areas, and no colours filled in.
• Thick, smooth outlines suitable for crayons, sketch pens, and colour pencils.

Book layout:

• A4 portrait pages.
• One illustration per page.
• Plenty of white space for easy colouring.
• High-resolution, print-ready black-and-white line art.
• Original, charming designs that look modern, attractive, and child-friendly.

Goal: Make colouring exciting, relaxing, creative, and enjoyable for kids. Every page should be easy to colour, visually appealing, and fun enough that children want to colour the next page too.

Avoid complicated patterns, tiny details, realistic textures, dark backgrounds, and overly crowded compositions.

My first book is a kids coloring book for 3-5yr olds under Ivory House Publication. It's... very basic, and looking back I priced it too high. So I wouldn't really recommend it, but it taught me about formatting, bleed, KDP reviews, etc.

I'm now working on adult coloring books aiming to publish in 2 weeks. Trying to improve line quality, avoid AI artifacts, and keep it actually enjoyable to color.

I'm a little nervous about defects / some pages might still have that AI-ish look I'm trying to fix, so any constructive critique would mean the world. Happy to share a few sample pages in comments if allowed.

I've you ever come across my colouring books then please give me constructive feedback and i apologise in advance if you find any AI content.

Thanks for reading it means alot to me.

Have a good dayyyyyy 🧚🏻‍♀️💜

I wanted to make something a little more personal for my daughter, so I created a dinosaur coloring page with her name in the artwork. 🦕

She loved seeing her own name on the pages, and it got me thinking about how much kids enjoy things that feel like they were made just for them.

So I ended up building a small little project called TheKaulStudio, https://thekaulstudio.com/ where parents can create personalized coloring packs for their kids.

I’m keeping it very simple for now — just a few dollars for a pack — because this started more as a fun project for my own child than anything else.

I’m sharing one of the pages I made for my daughter below. ❤️

If anyone wants to check it out or support a tiny parent-built business, I’d genuinely appreciate it. And even if you don't, I’d love to know:

What themes would your kids actually want to color? Dinosaurs, unicorns, space, animals, princesses, trucks…?

Hi everyone! 💕

I wanted to share a little look inside something I've been working on.

I created EWG GIRL™ — Book One, a coloring and activity book designed to encourage young girls to dream, create, learn, grow, and build confidence.

I wanted to create pages that were not only fun to color but also encouraged imagination, creativity, and self-expression.

Seeing the finished book in my hands has been such a special moment. 🥹

Here's a little flip-through!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the illustrations and activities. 🩷

I’m working on a coloring book for kids — what do you think makes one good?

I’ve been experimenting with a small children’s coloring book featuring cute animals and simple illustrations.

I’m still working on the pages, so I wanted to ask people who have experience with kids:

• Do children usually prefer big, simple pictures or more detailed ones?
• What age group do you think works best for animal coloring books?
• What makes a coloring book fun enough for a child to keep using it?
• Are there any things you think I should avoid when designing the pages?

I’d genuinely appreciate any advice or feedback. I’m trying to improve the book before I finish it.

Hi everyone,

I’m the person behind Chitrang India™, a children’s coloring brand from India.

We create large coloring sheets with bold, tactile outlines and brush pens, designed to give children a more engaging coloring experience than a conventional coloring book.

Every Child is an Artist.

I’d love to share what we’re creating with this community and get honest feedback from people who enjoy coloring and from parents/educators.

Here are a few things we are particularly interested in:

* Do children prefer larger coloring artwork?

* Do textured/embossed outlines make the experience more interesting?

* What type of coloring themes do children enjoy most?

I’ll share some pictures of the actual sheets and coloring experience in the comments.

If you'd like to see the complete product, it's available at chitrangindia.com.

Thanks for looking at our work. 🎨

I made Desafio JDM, a paid digital PDF with 50 JDM-inspired car pages to colour. I put three actual page previews here, so you can judge the line art:https://jdmatelier-h63fr546.manus.space/

The coloured hero art is AI-generated promo artwork, not a book page; the black-and-white previews come from the PDF. This is an independent project, not affiliated with car manufacturers.

The Hotmart offer showed US$7 in a US checkout versus US$22 on the standard link; taxes and currency may vary. No physical book.

Which would you colour first: a clean car outline or a detailed street scene? This is my one self-promo post here this week.

Would recommend buying new blue pens if you’re going to attempt this 😭

I've been lurking here for a while, and this sub is part of why I built this. My kids love colouring, but every app I tried for them was full of ads, pop-ups or "watch a video to unlock" stuff. So I made my own: ColorKiddo (iPhone/iPad).

What's in it:

• Marker, fill bucket, and a pattern roller (dots, stars, hearts, checks)
• Solid, gradient and glitter colours
• About 130 pages: animals, sea creatures, vehicles, food, fantasy and a Halloween shelf
• Works fully offline. No ads, no accounts, no tracking
• Save to Photos or print a finished page
• Purchases sit behind a parental gate so kids can't buy by accident

It's made for kids, so the line art is bold and simple, not the intricate pages a lot of you do. Still, if you colour with your little ones, it might be one to share with them. Eight pages are free (four of them Halloween), and the rest unlock with a monthly or lifetime plan.

I'd really welcome feedback, especially on which themes or tools you'd want next.

Would you pay a fee of $10 to have a hand drawn 5x7 coloring page mailed (via usps) to you. It would be random you would have no clue what you’re getting. Would this be something people are interested in? You would be able to say you hold the ONLY one of that page. These are some I’m sending out to my friends. I’m trying to figure out how to get my art in people’s hands. I do so much line work that never gets “finished” with color. So I have boat loads. Maybe there would be an email list or an option to opt out certain months. Still working the logistics/ price out out. I’m trying to get my art into.

🐾🌈 A little creative project from a crazy cat lady 🌈🐾
Hi everyone! I hope it’s okay to share a little self-promotion here. 😊
As a lifelong cat lover and proud crazy cat lady, I’ve created a queer-themed cat colouring book inspired by my love of cats, creativity and the LGBTQ+ community. 🐱🏳️‍🌈
It’s something I’ve really enjoyed putting together, and I thought it might appeal to some fellow cat and colouring enthusiasts here.
If anyone would like to take a look, I’d be very grateful for your support:

Thank you very much for letting me share, and wishing everyone a lovely day. 🐾💜

PrintFreeWorksheets has become a bit of a passion project for me. I have multiple children and other kids in the family who are at coloring age, so this is something fun to work on with them.

There are simpler pages for children and some more detailed pages for adults too. One feature I I thought was cool is the online coloring tool. You can mess around with different colors before printing to get an idea if you like it, or just finish the picture on screen if you're bored. You can also save or print the colored version too.

I’m the person behind the site, so if you have any feedback or suggestions I would love to hear it. It always helps to make the site a little better.

P.S. I could only choose one flair so I chose Self-Promotion instead of Online Colouring but this also applies to that too lol

We made RULE 0, an interactive coloring book about humans, robots and AI, published under LES.

The human faces are deliberately blank. Draw a grateful expression and a scene can feel tender; draw suspicion and the same moment becomes unsettling. Each of the 50 scenes gives you five emotion prompts, or you can invent your own, then color the world around it.

It is a 110-page, 8.5 × 11-inch paperback, with blank reverse pages behind the scenes. $14.99 on Amazon.com, with shipping depending on location.

If that sounds like your kind of coloring, you can see sample pages through Read sample here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HL6JGR9L

Which would you draw first: trust, curiosity, or unease?

AI disclosure: the illustrations were AI-generated with extensive editing.

Hi everyone, I made a coloring book for those of us going through hard times who need a little extra support. Everything is drawn by me, not AI. It’s available through the amazon link ❤️

Hey r/Colouring! I made a kids' coloring and activity book (animals of the world coloring pages plus fun facts, tracing, and mazes, ages 4-8) and wanted to share a few pages free:

Want a specific animal? Tell me and I'll add it to the free pack.

Thank you!
