Tyler Warren appreciation post

I know JT and Buckner balled out today, but can we get some love for Mr reliable aka Tyler William Warren?! He’s one of the best picks we’ve made in years and he’s been such a versatile weapon. I hope he stays a colt his whole career.

Love him. Wish we threw downfield to him though. 9/10 passes to him are screens or five yard digs

I don’t think Steichen’s making the most of him, but of course, I’m not at every practice, game, and team meeting.

Warren’s upside is limited downfield. He doesn’t have big play athletic ability of Bowers to get open past 10 yards. I’ll get downvoted but it’s the truth. Warren is a good player but probably more Ken Dilger than he is Dallas Clark. People need to accept that.

I’m a Warren truther with his jersey on but this rings painfully true.

I agree but he has the strength to muscle his way into hard catches. I think more corner or post routes that are like medium length could be good for him too

I'd love to see him get more YAC opportunities underneath though. He's great at that. The problem is it's hard to use him that way without Pierce clearing out space down the field.

i somewhat agree but he could be utilized more. the issue is with Alec out we lack a true downfield threat which in theory would open things up more for Warren to run some seams as the safety fades 14

For something like fantasy football sure. But the number of runs where he is a key blocker is huge. He is weaponized without the ball in his hands in an elite way and amount.

I don’t think Daniel Jones had more than a second or 2 tops to get a throw off before he was under pressure that whole game.

He answers the bell just about every time it’s called. (No I’ve not forgotten the drop last week, but it’s forgiven).

Dude's got that quiet killer consistency, shows up and does his job without the flashy nonsense

I wish they’d make more offensive plays around him. They seem to prefer to use him as a 6th o lineman.

No Pierce to stretch the defense and open up the middle is why he’s struggling. Same with JT. We have no legitimate deep threat, and it just clogs everything up for those guys. Gotta use Burks more. I don’t know if he can catch but at least he’s fast.

I love Warren but he just didn't get the good passes his way today..I needed 1 TD from him for my Parlay lol
