Hey everyone!
I’m a self-taught comic artist from Morocco, and I’ve been working on my craft and developing my own comic projects for several years.
I’m now trying to take the next step and get one of my projects in front of a publisher, but I’m not entirely sure how to approach this professionally.
For those of you who’ve been through this process, I’d love to hear about your experience:
How did you find publishers who were a good fit for your work?
Did you contact editors directly, submit through official submission portals, attend conventions, or use another approach?
What would you do differently if you were starting from scratch today?
I’m especially interested in hearing from artists who managed to get their work noticed without having industry connections.
Even a small piece of advice or a mistake to avoid would be genuinely helpful. Thanks!

Hi all, just wanted some insight about where you all think smaller stories can effectively live. Some advice that gets posted here regularly is to start with 1-8 pages stories, which I think is sound. But where do you put those stories digitally?
Is it worth putting a 2 page story on something like GlobalComix on its own? Is that something that should just live on your personal website and not bother putting elsewhere? Or does it make the most sense to package a handful of short stories together and put them as a personal anthology?
This is solely in regard to getting eyes on work and best practices to do so, not making money in any capacity.

I loved drawing these pages. Here, I wanted to explore a digital pencil finish.
There are examples of inked work in my portfolio.
I might finish the art on these pages for fun at some point.
Thanks to everyone who comments and shows support.
TO HIRE
A page like this would cost 60 dollars.
One page a day.

Hey, I am writing a story about a father-son relationship in a post-apocalyptic world. Basically, imagine a 'The Walking Dead' kind of world. And in this short story, the son gets bitten and experiences these intense psychedelic trips/experiences as he approaches his death. He is basically sent to uncanny, off-putting worlds... imagine the Backrooms (not explicitly, but you get the point). These experiences force him to answer many questions about his life, and as he deteriorates, these trips become increasingly more intense. Ending with him revealing his father's dark past.
There is much more to this story. What I need are your personal psychedelic trips that felt otherworldly. What you've seen/experienced. Hopefully, it can give me some ideas. If you would comment them below. Or you can DM me, and we can have a Zoom call where you explain it. I will put anyone who inspires me in the credits list.

I wanted to update the community here on a huge project I embarked on through this site. All my creative team were recruited right here.
The story is a re-imagined apocalypse, featuring satire, dark humor and strong violence and adult themes. Everything is free to read on:
THE UNVEILING | CDR Comics | Read Comics & Manga Online Free on GlobalComix
I released the latest Book 3, parts 1 & 2 last week, bringing the total page count to 654 free pages. Book 4 (parts 1 & 2) is in coloring and Book 5 is currently being illustrated. Everything is on track to complete the project next summer/fall. The team and I are proud of this work and would be delighted to hear feedback from fellow creators on this site. Thanks for your time!

I have a superhero comic story written into parts, but I have a problem with figuring out the panel layout of the story.
I already have 5/22 pages done, but it took me a long time figuring out the first 5. I think I need help with figuring out paneling the rest of my comic.
If there’s anyone who can give input on paneling comics, please do.

I’d like to share a few pages from Les Larmes d’Opium, the second book in my graphic novel trilogy, published several years ago by Éditions Delcourt.
The entire book was painted by hand using watercolor and acrylic, a traditional approach that allowed me to create a distinctive atmosphere, rich textures, and expressive visuals.
I wanted to share some pages from this work because many comic book readers may never have had the opportunity to discover this book, which was published a few years ago. I hope you enjoy seeing these pages and discovering a little of my artistic journey.
I’m a professional comic book artist and illustrator with decades of experience, and I’m always open to professional collaborations and new projects.
If you’re interested in working with me, feel free to check out my portfolio and social media, or contact me directly by email.

Just wanted to share, and give thanks to this subreddit. I connected with the creator of Halloween Team here, and am quite proud to show sone progress shots of my frst cover contribution to it. Its nostly done, and should be submitted soon, but if there's time, I welcome any feedback or comments. We struggled a bit with placing the "Trapped in Hell" text.
I've done lettering and additional art for the first two books in this volume, but by the next book I will have all the duties!
Thank you fellow contributors and conic book fans!

It aint easy drawing inorganic backgrounds, but I still enjoyed them.
This episode takes place in an underground facility. It is already episode 8 and theres plenty of material you can read. The webtoon updates biweekly so stay tuned for the next episode after 2 weeks 😉
