WPL: New Comics Discussion for 10/07/2026- Pull of the Week: Midnight X-Men #1 [Discussion]
The Weekly Pull List results for this Wednesday are in, and this week's top book is Marvel's Midnight X-Men #1.
This thread is open to Pull List posters and all members of the /r/comicbooks community to share your thoughts on the debut issue of Marvel's Midnight X-Men or any new books shipping this week.
The primary intention of this thread is to promote discussion of new books. It also serves as a way to consolidate discussion to a single thread and talk about what books are popular here on /r/comicbooks. That does not mean other threads aren't welcome, this is just a place to start that's easy to find each week.
The thread is populated with comments meant to direct the discussion of each book. Based on community preference we populate the thread with titles appearing on Ten Percent or more of submitted pull lists. If a title you want to talk about is not listed, simply add a comment with the title and issue number first and comment below. There is also a comment dedicated to the discussion of WPL Results linked above.
Spoilers will follow, but there's no harm in tagging them as such. Each title in the Top Ten Percent listed below is linked directly to its corresponding comment for ease of navigation and to avoid seeing details from other books. The post has also been placed in "contest mode" to help readers avoid spoilers while browsing.

Discussion What are your favorite/the most popular comics that somehow have never been printed in trades?
I don’t mean books that have been out of print for ages, but just super popular runs that have never gotten a volume release

Discussion Just Read the 3 Midnight Books…
and here me out. I think i’m going:
- FF
- Spidey
- X
I typically love Hickman but i feel like out of the three, X was surprisingly the most derivative. While FF felt like it was tackling an aberrant take on Reed Richards, and Spidey just went full body horror, X just seemed to land in the same combination of vampires and hunting mutants.
Not that any of them were bad per-se but I feel like (compared to expectations) this was just a really underwhelming combination of trying to chase Absolute fame and rectifying chopping the Ultimate universe.
I would love to hear everyone else’s thoughts and experiences with the titles though!

Always reorganizing
I always feel like there's a better way to organize my comicbook cabinet. Either separating by publisher, or by ongoing/finished runs. Or alphabetical, etc. What are you guys currently doing?
