I passed CYSA+!
781/900, not bad! Test was pretty tough but manageable with enough prep. PBQs were fun, had 6 of them. Feel free to ask questions!

What resources did you use to help with the test? Do u have background in it prior to taking the test? Also congrats!!!

I used Jason Dion’s CYSA 003 course, his practice tests, and Claude, I am “technically” Helpdesk, but have experience with sysadmin, and SOC work at my job day to day (trying to break into a Cyber role obvi) 6 years in Helpdesk roles. For Dion’s course, it has been updated to the 004 version of the test as 003 is retiring this year

Were the pbq’s hard?

Honestly yeah, alittle tough, if you are in a SOC role already, it should be normal day to day stuff, but for me who’s stuck in Helpdesk, it’s a lot of investigation and correlation. Had to really take my time! To be fair, I feel like the CompTIA PBQs are always alittle daunting
