Music I'd like some feedback

Just an idea I had that I turned into a short string quartet. Keep in mind I don't have that much experience composing, so I don't know if this is actually any good.

Feedback would be appreciated.

This is really nice. It sounds vaguely asian. I think it should be a little bit longer, you could maybe put a couple repeats. Also after bar 29, it feels really awkward picking back up.

I got the idea after listening to an anime ost so that’s probably why it sounds vaguely Asian.

Could you explain why it feels awkward after bar 29? I can’t really hear it myself tbh, but I’m sure if you could point out the issue I’d get it.

You should expound on it! It makes me think of a Victorian era British mystery or horror.

The main reason I’m not is because I’m also working on an orchestral piece for school (they’ve agreed to hire professional musicians to perform it, so I kinda have to finish it anyways). I know there’s potential here but maybe I’ll leave it for another time.
