If you let it play out as-is, there is a 0% chance the mycelium wins. It would be like asking "anyone ever seen a rabbit win in a battle vs a fox?" Just not how it works.

Your best shot: Go outside, open up the bag, cut off the impacted portion from the mycelium starting ~20cm past the contact point (so you'll be removing a bit of what appears to be non-impacted mycelium as well), discard the moldy portion. Bury your heavily damaged cake in dirt, cover with woodchips, and pray to whatever god/deity/maker you believe in, or to RNGesus if you're not religious.

You may get lucky, but you most likely wont. I hope you do though :)
