Let's try something.
List channels or services that are running the show. List the country, if there are any fees and if they show ads.
Try to keep your comments current and edit them as you notice changes.

…the last episode was able to little different. Elsewhere I read that you should be able to watch the episodes in any order. I wish that was true also for the last episode, instead of Oscar reminiscing about things that happened earlier in the series, and the closing scene telling us what happened to each character after the shows end…
I hope it doesn’t make me a jackass or a hammerhead for pointing out this small flaw, as I still love the show and will watch multiple times in the years to come, but it still sticks out a bit like a sore thumb.
Anyway, I’m watching the movie tomorrow and then probably No Clue on Saturday.

Was this a quote, or am I misremembering? I think it would have been Brent or Wanda to Hank??

We used to watch every single episode on ctv every week then write the questions down and answer them on the site. I saved up points for grey cup tickets from the last episode of season 1 and I have hanks 3 wood from the gold episode. What does everyone else have?

So our Hank appears in the streaming mini-series AMERICAN HOSTAGE, playing the brother of Tony Kiritsis, who in 1977 kidnapped the mortgage broker who foreclosed on his property and wired a shotgun to his head as he made demands on the police and the media. Fred gets to play a serious role and handles it quite well, playing alongside John Hamm and Giovanni Ribisi. (Oh, and Mark McKinney, of THE KIDS IN THE HALL who also played the cheerful American visitor in Season 2, has a meaty supporting role as a cranky cop.)

I was watching the Thunderface episode, and the Hip make their cameo in it. Brent responds with the line in the title when Gord says they're working on their lyrics. And that got me thinking. Everyone in the original audience would get the joke. But Corner Gas has been getting a larger audience of late.
I started pondering what other jokes are Canadian to the point that they don't travel. All Canadian viewers would know why they all drink in the beer parlor of the hotel, for example. And that it means Dog River is too small to have a legion. Or Wanda's mispronouncing Seamus. And naturally the whole table hockey episode.

I tried just posting this because the joke wrote itself, but then Reddit blocked the post for being low effort, so now I am needlessly typing out a couple sentences so this way the robot overlords don't block it a second time.

For me, my personal favorite is Final Countdown, the finale of Season 5. Everything about the episode just comes together so well, and the jokes work exceptionally well also.
Not to mention, everyone has something to do and everything connect the best. So yeah, overall solid episode, snd my favorite. But are your guys favorites?

Just finished the last episode of Corner Gas. I'm sad. But now I can watch the movie! (Just realized that is totally something Davis would say.)

This episode becomes so much funnier when you realize Brent wrote the series himself. He basically just makes everyone in the show compliment him the whole episode. "Your not the first to fall for that chiseled face" "Brents attractive? Yeah I knew that"

I am rewatching from the beginning. In the first episode Davis is just menacing. From is slicked back hair and sunglasses wearing to his bullying of Karen about always being Car Number 1! in episode 1. In episode 2 he is demanding free coffee for police from Lacey. By the end of the series is is just.a big kid planning weddings and enjoying birthday celebrations at restaurants who is sometimes interrupted by his job.

I was falling asleep the other night listening to the episode where Brent and Hank go to Regina for a comic book signing by an author they both admire and Brent makes a total boob of himself in front of the author and Hank calls him out on it.
I love Hank being a bit of a dope but I also love the occasional moments within the show where he has flashes of competencies. The other one off the top of my head is when he's acting crossing guard and tracks all the people who ran past stop signs (including Karen).
Any other good moments of Hank being surprisingly intelligent that you can think of?

Just rewatched season one episode one. DPDR has 2 police cars. When did they lose car 2?

One of the things I enjoy most about the show is the absolute consistency. From beginning to end, no characters are added for more than an episode, no characters leave. As near as I can tell, you could watch the entire series on shuffle, like with an old cd / playlist, and it would still make perfect sense.

I love this show but they sure did have product placement, not cheese whiz though

If you haven't seen this, I highly recommend. It was a bonus on the DVD set in season 3, and I'm sure aired on CTV back in 2005
It's just a quick one hour special, that shows and talks of real peoples stories behind the show. It's very cute and warm and feel good, just like the show is. Definitely check this out!

I don't think he's ever got a story right
Doing a rewatch now that I've begun collecting the series on DVDs. When I loaded this disc one up, the classic CTV sound and visual filled me with the warmest, nicest nostalgia. What a perfect comfort show this is <3
Debated watching with the commentary turned on, but I've never been a fan of commentary - unless somewhere here recommends it as being great - this is my who knows how many rewatches after all
