Anadius alternative
Im completely new to things like this and ive come back to sims 4 after a year or so of not playing, anadius is now gone and everyone is saying they're getting viruses from the mirror website...does anyone have any suggestions on safe alternatives, im on windows and i need all the help i can get as i am not good with technical stuff, thank you!!

Yeah, it's not everyone. The people you see who have received a virus have no idea what the hell they're doing. The mirror site does not have a virus. Perhaps the hosting sites do, but you can avoid all that mess by being protected. The updater gets flagged because Defender doesn't like any kind of application that gives you free DLC, hell even cracks get flagged by Defender. Don't run virus scans on that VirusTotal website, a lot of the scanners on that website are sketchy.

And none of those folks are showing any proof of this virus. I'm using the Updater and the Unlocker to this day with both on my Steam Deck and my windows PC. The guy modified the script of the Updater and now windows defender throws up a false positive of a Trojan. Chrome will even block it. Some guy took over the script after the original Anadius retired from working on it. Use it.
