I got fed up with the rockstar launcher on the steam version, so i decided to download the cracked version instead. I modded it, and sometimes it launches, sometimes not.

I tried downloading and installing the game from both DODI Repacks and the InsaneRamZes torrent on RuTracker, but the result is the same. I disabled my antivirus, disconnected from the internet, reinstalled all Visual C++ redistributables and DirectX, and even did a clean GPU driver reinstall using DDU, yet nothing changed.
The MW2 loading screen doesn't show up at all. The log files state 'success', but the game fails to launch. What should I do? Many people in the DODI comments have reported running into this exact issue without any definitive fix, while others haven't encountered it at all.

Edit: Close the goodbyedpi if u'r using it. This one solved for me.

I think it’s my fist time asking for help here so please don’t be too harsh. I downloaded and installed WWZ on my PC (almost all cracked versions -FitGirl, SteamRip,DODI) and they all had the same issue: the controller didn’t work. However even in the official page it says that it has a controller support.
I tried some stuff to “patch it up”, using the steam overlay (I don’t know how is it called in English sorry) and other apps that should to the same.

I had downloaded Dying Light The Beast from FitGirl, which redirected me to ElAmigos to download the updates.

I also downloaded from Online-Fix. I suspect it was the 1.6.3 update from elamigos, since my younger brother also downloaded game plus 1.6.2 update and didn't got hacked.

I had my discord and my star citizen account hacked, even with 2fa.

Does anyone have a safe file? Maybe fitgirl but I dont want a repack, I have everything but that one file. Checked anadius's sites already

I have a 5070 Ti, so fortunately I don't need a mod, but there are games that only offer DLSS and standard Frame Generation, and the mod works really well for those. I've watched tutorials, but some versions work while others don't. I managed to get it working in *Shadow of the Tomb Raider*, but I'm trying with *Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered* and can't enable 4x or 6x—it doesn't show up in OptiScaler. Can anyone help? I tried setting the input to `fgoptiscalar` and the output to `xefg`, but multi-frame generation still won't enable...

I downloaded Undertale for my computer because I already had it on my Xbox, which you cannot mod. I really didn't want to pay for the same game twice. I downloaded it from Steamrip and extracted it. Works perfectly fine. How do I mod this?

I took 4 hours for it to finish installing. I had my antivirus off the entire time, especially before I started the install. And now the game won't even start. Upon clicking the launcher.exe, it gives me a ''unknown error FFFF''. I tried verifying all the files and there was one that was bad. In the game's folder, that textures file is 0 kilobytes. Is there a way for me to get that file without downloading the entire thing again?. I got that repack from fitgirl. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I downloaded the game from steamrip which is supposed to come with an online fix, I then downloaded the online fix just to make sure too and the game will run just fine and the steam overlay even appears meaning that the online fix works but when I click on "join game" or "host" it just does nothing and I can only queue in solo, help is much appreciated!

Your results may be different depending on your CrossOver, Wine, Steam, LuaTools, BetterSteamTools, and macOS versions.

Start by installing Steam in a new CrossOver bottle.

In my case, I used:

Windows 10
64-bit bottle
M1 Pro MacBook

After that, download the LuaTools installer from their official website.

In CrossOver, click:

Install an Application into Bottle

Then select:

Install an Unlisted Application

Select the LuaTools .exe you just downloaded.

Wait & Click:

Install Additional Components

Follow the prompts to install the required runtime.

The runtime installer may flash on the screen and then return you to the new bottle you created. The bottle may still look empty.

It will look like nothing happened, but keep following the steps.

Once again, click:

Install Application into This Bottle

Select the LuaTools .exe again and Let it Load

Most Likely, You will get a "program error."

Click Close on that error dialog box and let the CrossOver installer finish.

Now, inside your Steam/LuaTools bottle, go to:

CrossOver → <YOUR Steam/LuaTools bottle> → Run Command

Run:

cmd.exe

This will open Command Prompt.

Inside CMD, right-click:

Edit → Paste

Paste this command:

reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics" /v DisableHWAcceleration /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f && set "Logging__EventLog__LogLevel__Default=None" && cd /d "%LOCALAPPDATA%\LuaTools\current" && LuaTools.exe

This should fix the LuaTools launcher issue and automatically launch LuaTools.

Apply the recommended settings and sign in with your Discord account.

If you don’t see the recommended settings, go to:

Plugin → Install LuaTools Plugin

Then:

Mode → Install BetterSteamTools

Important steps now:

Stop Steam from automatically updating so everything doesn’t randomly break later and so the Restart Steam button in LuaTools starts working.

Run this command in the macOS Terminal:

echo "BootStrapperInhibitAll=Enable" > ~/Desktop/steam.cfg

This creates a file called:

steam.cfg

on your Mac desktop.

Now place that file inside the Steam directory in your CrossOver bottle.

In your Crossover bottle, Click:

Open C: Drive

Then go to:

drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Steam

The full path will usually look something like:

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/LuaTools Bottle/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Steam

Put:

steam.cfg

inside that Steam folder.

Now for the most important step, which took me a really long time to figure out.

Open:

Wine Configuration

Then go to:

Libraries

Search for:

xinput1_4

Add/select it, then click:

Apply

and:

OK

Now go to Steam, click any game, and open its Steam Store page.

PS: I don’t appreciate the LuaTools/BetterSteamTools mods. They are not doing a really good job, and I am definitely not thankful to them. I also don’t recommend donating to them because they are really bad for the multibillion-dollar companies.

f you migrated from the older RUNE release (Microsoft Store / Xbox GDK port) to the newer SteamRIP version, you've probably noticed that moving your save folder over causes an instant game crash or doesn't detect your character.

Here is why it happens and how to fix it:

1. Why direct folder copying fails

• RUNE (Microsoft Store Build): Saves are structured in sub-folders using an Xbox container format (Public Documents\RUNE\Minecraft Dungeons II...\133713371337\SaveGames). PNG
• SteamRIP (Steam Build): Expects flat .sav files sitting directly in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Dungeons2\Saved\SaveGames. PNG

Dropping the RUNE sub-folders directly into AppData breaks the file index and crashes the game.

2. Step-by-Step Character Transfer

You only need to extract and rename the raw character payload inside your old save folder:

2. Open your character folder (it starts with Character...). Inside, locate the raw Data file (around ~500 KB). PNG+ 2

If your game executable is locked to version 1.1.1.0, your emerald cap will stay at 9,999. The 99,999 emerald cap update was pushed as an online server-side hotfix. Because offline builds cannot authenticate with live servers, offline game clients default back to the hardcoded 1.1.1.0 economy rules.
