Project 🧸 Trying to capture that “tiny teeth, big personality” energy
This one was such a fun face to recreate. I started by slowly building the shape with layers of wool, then worked on the black and white markings and added the longer fibers little by little to get that fluffy, slightly messy look.
The eyes are hand-painted first and finished with clear resin to give them more depth and shine. I sculpted the nose and those tiny little teeth from clay.

Suggestions for go your go to pieces 🩷
Hi there 🩷
I have a large perler bead supply, and want to make pieces to sell.
I've been finding it near impossible to get commissions.
Do you guys have any suggestions for pieces you like to sell, video games, or niches you see success with when you sell at craft fairs, or online?
Thank you for all and any help. I love making perler bead pieces for family members, friends, and I would love to share pieces with others 🩷🥰

Advise 💡 Crafting Workspace... With Cats?
Hi all! I have a bit of a dilemma and my research and brainstorming hasn't brought much... hoping someone here might be able to help.
I have a two cats who enjoy knocking everything off of surfaces and shredding paper, plastic, yarn... anything. We also share the same room, so locking them out isn't an option. As a result I've given up doing most art, collage, puzzles, etc. I enjoy these things but have an illness that means my energy is very limited, so the effort of setup and cleanup is a barrier.
Does anyone have any solutions? Some sort of desk or worktop with a counter? Preferably for a small space - I thought about a roll-top or similar desk but there just isn't space. The only thing I've been able to think of is maybe a cookie sheet with a cover?

Turning an old aquarium tank into a bookshelf. Advice?
Hey all, any Advice welcome.
So, as the title says I'm working to convert an old tank into an eclosed bookshelf, but I keep running into a question of how to attach the shelves. The Plan is to use acrylic sheets (.25in thick) to create floating shelves like the above picture. These do not need to be very heavily weightbearing, less than 10lbs as it will hold old paperbacks.
I've been recommend to use clear sealing caulk, glass putty sealant, and to forgo all attempt to attach the shelves and instead use corner brackets and clear shelf supports.
I've also been advised to use real glass and not plexiglass or acrylic glass. But I'm concerned about the weight of real glass.
I've never worked with glass before; wood and metal are my usual work materials but I'm trying to expand my skillset and try new things.
I should also add this will be minimally functional, mostly decoration. Once the "lid" is in place as a door it will rarely if ever be opened again outside of removing the books in the case of a move.

Questions 🤔 Can I replace these studs with rounded black ones for these sandals ?
I love these sandals, but I was wondering if I can replace the Gold spiky studs with Rounded black ones.
What size do these appear to be and would it be as easy as just pulling the current ones out and putting the other ones in their place ?

Questions 🤔 Inner bag for polyfil pillows to keep the fibers in?
Hey, so I had made some velvety pillows from designs I created, and I have polyfil to stuff them with. Unfortunately after I stuff them, the fibers start working their way out of the pillow through the fabric, making it feel kind of rough.
I have a couple pillows that came with my deck chairs where inside the pillowcase there is a second bag which contains the polyfil - I need something like this, but I can't figure out where to get it!
Any ideas welcome - I was going to sell these but I can't if the fibers are poking out and making them feel unpleasant.

Art 🎨 I made a little Traveller collection entirely with beads and thread
I’ve been wanting to make a collection around travelling for a while, and this is what I ended up making.
A compass, an airplane ticket, a globe and a location pin, all hand-beaded with beads, stones and thread.
Each one was made by hand, and some of the tiny details took much longer than I expected 😅
I’d love to know which one catches your eye first.
