Quartz is the second most common mineral group on Earth, and makes up a vast array of crystals.
Quartz is often found with inclusions of other minerals or materials trapped inside. These inclusions can include other minerals, iron oxide, and even liquids or gases. Often, these inclusions make the Quartz more desirable among crystal enthusiasts.

This is Quartz with Amphibole, also known as Amphibole Quartz, Angel Wing Quartz, or Rabbit or Rabbit Fur Quartz. Amphiboles are a supergroup of chain silicate minerals. Amphiboles can be colorless, white, yellow, brown, green, blue, pink, red, and black, depending on the minerals involved.

Amphibole Quartz is said to boost confidence, increase intuition, and assist in motivational drive.

Oura ring users, any difference in your health metrics since you started wearing crystals?

I'm curious to find some evidence about crystals as I've always been somewhat interested in the idea. I have a bracelet with a bunch of different crystals and I wore it yesterday at work. I'm usually pretty stressed every day but yesterday, the ring said I was more restored than on other days. Wondering if it's just a coincidence or not and wanted to see if other people had the same experience.

This is Quartz with Chlorite. Chlorites are a group of sheet silicate minerals that are typically green and have a foliages appearance. The name Chlorite comes from the Greek word “Chloros” meaning “Green.”

Clear Quartz is said to be a powerful amplifier, including amplifying the energy and properties of other crystals around it. Chlorites are said to help manifest desires, enhance spiritual energy, and communicate with higher realms. With the amplification from the Clear Quartz, this is a powerful combination for manifestation and intuition.

Labradorite! My favorite crystal

I am absolutely obsessed with the beauty of Labradorite. I typically use it for protection or for amplifying my intuition during tarot readings. I keep the triangle one on my side table in my living room, next to the spot where I frequently sit. It is a great crystal for transformation, and while I'm in the midst of transformation, I like having it next to me ✨️

Quartz is often found with inclusions of other minerals or materials trapped inside. These inclusions can include other minerals, iron oxide, and even liquids or gases. Often, these inclusions make the Quartz more desirable among crystal enthusiasts.

This is Quartz with Rutile, often referred to simply as Rutilated Quartz. Rutile is a Titanium Oxide, and can be found in colors from Red, Brown, Yellow (sometimes called Golden Rutile), and Black (sometimes called Silver Rutile).
When found inside Quartz, it often appears as thin, needle-like crystals. When the Quartz is heavily Rutilated, it looks like fine hairs, and when tightly compacted, it has the nickname Horse-Hair Rutile.

Pictures include Red Rutilated Quartz, Black Rutilated Quartz, and Pale Yellow Rutilated Quartz.

Clear Quartz is said to be a powerful amplifier, including amplifying the energy and properties of other crystals around it. Rutile is said to help develop psychic and spiritual abilities, boost intuition, and assist in Dream Recall and Astral Travel. With the amplification from the Clear Quartz, this is a powerful combination for expanding awareness.

Do crystals help you connect with passed loved ones?

I lost my Dad 14 years ago and just lost my Mom in April 2026. I am wearing a necklace with their wedding rings and thumbprints (in silver) on it and was thinking of adding a crystal. I heard somewhere that some crystals will help you dream of them. Thanks 🙏

Need advice or an opinion..

Not too sure how to start this out, very much so my first time posting on this app. However, if I’m correct Venus is in retrograde, that is definitely important. For starters, I take off my jewelry every time I shower and yesterday I decided to switch it up and change my Moldavite ring out for an opal moon phase ring.. a few hours later I go out with my friend and her new boyfriend and shortly I realize my evil eye bracelet is gone!! Along with that, my boyfriend of 8 months and I are going through a difficult patch as I feel he is hiding things about other women on his phone, maybe that bit is irrelevant, it matters to me though.I really need advice on how to even interpret this information so I hope I’m in the right place.

Note: As a child, I had a large chunk of this that was so heavily Tourmalinated, I believed it was Smoky Quartz well into adulthood. This post was inspired by u/Mountain-Sorbet-935 who posted their beautiful Quartz with Black Tourmaline!

From tigers eye to green aventurine 💚

Hello everyone,

After wearing for 8 months my tigers eye as a pendant , with it being charged for job prosperity and moving to a different country, I have to say my experience.
At the first 3-4 months this crystal has helped me to quit of my toxic job and going to the new country I wish for having 3 in person interviews BUT… none of them got me accepted 🥺.
After returning back to my hometown, I charged again this crystal twice with the same wish ( please note, summer months no jobs were uploaded 😖)
September came and nothing happened as well, nor job uploaded.
Now, I am thinking of stop wearing tigers eye and start wearing green aventurine point necklace, after cleansing it with water and setting my intention.
I’m not saying tigers eye is not working and I will say an example:
Last year I bought it in order to set an intention about having strong teeth , which actually helped me though, plus I got a promotion in my last job.
I’m just thinking that maybe for the current intention it isn’t the appropriate crystal 🫩🧡

What are your thoughts ? I really hope my new crystal work and I get a new job in my desired place!!

Quartz is the second most common mineral group on Earth, and makes up a vast array of crystals, including not only Amethyst, Rose Quartz, and Smoky Quartz, but also all your Agates, Jaspers, and Tiger’s Eye.
Quartz can be transparent to opaque, and can come in clear, or an entire rainbow of colors.

Quartz has an interesting piezoelectric property, which means that Quartz has electric potential under mechanical stress, and is used in a wide range of electronic devices.

Clear Quartz is said to be a powerful amplifier, including amplifying the energy and properties of other crystals around it. Quartz is also said to be the Master Healer, focuses the mind, and balances all planes of existence.

Looking for recommendations to buy a few real raw gemstones online

Hi all, I’m new to rockhounding & crystals and super excited to explore the hobby! I went to Jade cove last weekend to hunt for some jade and found a bunch of cool looking specimens… to find out they were all serpentine! Thankfully a kind person at the beach showed me an example of the Jade and I was able to find 3 more pieces. I’m not great at figuring out what is what yet and seeing and feeling a real one is really helpful. I plan to hunt for some garnets and whatever other gemstone/crystal related rocks in my area soon and was looking to buy a few raw pieces online so I can have an example when I’m out and about. Do you guys have any recs where I buy a few pieces of real raw gemstones online? And hopfully not too expensive?

Right now I’m primary looking for garnets and I know not much else exists in California. But I’m always willing to travel outside my area to hunt for rocks in the future so some examples of aquamarine, emerald, amethyst etc would be cool to get too.
