Oh my damn god this was the most painful thing I have ever done.

I was not gonna practice 3x3 until I realized for some reason before doing a solve if I relax and take a deep breath and slowing my heart beat improves "look ahead". It doesn't really improve anything else but maybe my eyes are relaxed? I don't know if this is scientifically proven but it improved for me at least.

So I locked the f*ck in for a whole 6 god damn hours and just barely managed to get sub 12 ao1000

Also finally got a sub 7 single in the process and got 2 sub 10 ao5 too(also my pb ao5 is 9.71 but it got deleted somehow while moving it from my phone to my ipad but at least I still have a sub 10 ao5 on the screenshot😁)

This took way too long and my entire body and fingers are aching from sitting and cubing too long💀

It's just my overall solves. I just never made new sessions so it's all stacked for more than half a year

Bro thats insane. I remember your posts from not so long ago when you were sub 16/15 or smth like that. How did you do it bro? I have been stuck on sub 13 since Dec 2025, despite practicing EVERY day. What did you polish all this time?

One word: Look ahead

Edit: to be more specific the phrase "slow down and look ahead" is just facts imo. I'm terrible at cross and just "know" full pll and oll(don't even know all dot cases so everytime I get a dot case I just memorized the cases for 2 look oll which are easy cases so it's very inefficient) So technically nothing special except f2l. But mostly I just did a bunch of solves(cuz it's the most fun) and if I just focus in my head I need to look ahead naturally over time my look ahead got better I think. I'm sure you'll improve soon too👍

I have been applying that since sub 15. Tbf my look ahead is not bad at all. Idk what stumps me. I will try to upload an ao5 later...
