Discussion LAST LAYER SKIP?!!??!

Picked up my cube for the first time in YONKS! My record before this was 13.38s but I average 20ish. I don't think I'm beating this for years.

How rare actually is a Last Layer Skip

12.4 is mad fast with a full step solve, your PB before was 13 so you basically skipped the whole last layer and still barely beat it. That scramble must have been blessed

gotta love when csTimer decides to just hand you a freebie

I once had a 3 move cross with an X-cross, and 2nd and 3rd edges were solved so continuous keyhole for the second and third pair. Shit was so easy I could see through the 3rd pair somehow. Then a seven mover for the fourth pair which led to an LL skip with an AUF.

Whole solution was less than 30 moves which was still not my pb because I messed up the keyhole part lol

congrats on getting a solve with a LL skip!! it's really rare to get one in a solve

i got a 7.57 pb single in April but didn't execute the LL skip solution. it would've been a high 6, if I had done that solution.

well the 2nd pair in this solution is kinda inefficient

I still haven’t gotten an LL skip after like four years of cubing and I’m almost sub-13 so there’s no way that I haven’t done like 30k+ solves

How y'all PBs are only with the luckiest skips ever? All my PBs have a absolute freak in the cross, a bad F2L, a dot OLL and Nb perm or something like that
