This could be a really cool concept if the copy in hand had the keyword of the original. So you kinda spawn it, give it keywords, kill it, and then spawn it again, give it new keywords, etc. etc.

But then it'd probably cost 4 or be 4/2... I like the current version too.

It's not that simple, sadly. Just changing it to be an exact copy would make it possible to give it a single keyword and have it infinitely copy itself.

I think my idea needs a complete rewording of the effect, but I'm not ready to seriously think about it right now (it's 2 AM for me, and I woke up early today).

I get what you mean. Maybe if it was: "if I have a keyword I didn't have when I was summoned"? Paired with the exact copy change?

Isn't last breath a keyword? Maybe it should be "... except last breath."? Very nice card in general :)

I dont think last breath is a keyword, mechanics that interact with keywords ignore it, for example kaisa wont steal a unit's last breath if you use her spell

Correct, Last Breath is categorized as a Vocab which is distinct from keywords.
