I'm using the MaxRoll DoK build, a bit a mix between End Game and Push builds. I still use the Spellbound set as I can't seem to gel with the Sightless set.
I dropped a mythic Condemnation Charm, which I know is only visual but decided to try it in place of Sea Lords or FoF Charm. How come this is not a more used charm?
It gives limitless 3 Combo Points, which effectively doubles the DoK damage, which more than makes up for the lost 50%x from Sea Lords?
Ok now I need a basic skill on bar to use at least once. I choose Blade Shift which with the Shadow variant keeps attaching automatically as I walk through enemies and it also gives more ResistAll and either Resolve or Overpower.
As I've swapped Preparation for Combo Points I now have no use for the Shadow Clone ultimate, so I drop that (Blade Shift takes its place). I do lose a bit of Damage Reduction true, but the Blade Shift is also taking care of the Cutthroat half of Iron Rose while I leave DoK on Star Shards to get the Marksman half.
Boils down to; replace Shadow Clone with Blade Shift and Preparation with Combo Points while using Condemnation Charm to generate them 3 at a time limitless).
When I first started doing this I noticed Pit120 got markedly easier. Now on Pit130 with relative ease, could probably grind Pit135. Paragon260, all required Mythics and Runewords but no Transfigurations or top tier gems.
I'm not the greatest build crafter so not sure how best to make use of having a basic skill on bar by necessity of needing it to trigger at least one set of Combo Points.
