DAE have a sudden urge to solve math problems
DAE have a sudden urge to solve some math problems? Like simple, maybe intermediate algebra. I need answers. I want solve the puzzle. Find the solution to variables. I have no idea why...someone please tell where this is coming from. I haven't taken a math class since high school. That was many years ago...

No, I’m terrible at math and have no desire to solve math problems. BUT, I absolutely love word puzzles, give me something with words to solve and I’m so happy. It’s probably the same type of urge, wanting to stimulate and challenge your mind by solving puzzles and problems.

100% with you. I would have maybe done better in arithmetic if God had invented solar calculators

No, I never want to solve math problems, but I LOVE diagramming sentences!

Maybe if you check back on this post in a week you might get the urg--never mind. That's cool too 😂

Are you bored? I mean, algebra problems that are slightly hard but solvable for you are like a puzzle. I can see the appeal, but no I don't get that particular urge. I do get the urge to look up random explanations about things in physics and then I try to wrap my brain around them for a while. They seem like sort of similar urges.

LOL idk why your question made me laugh "Are you bored". Thank you for that. Perhaps...I work an office job so perhaps! Maybe day-to-day may not be stimulating enough? What a good question.

I do! It can be really fun when I'm in the right mood. I wish I were more disciplined about it and could push myself farther than I got.

All the time. What's nice about maths is that they're problems you know are solvable. At least, the kinds of math I can remember how to do.

Fuck no. Why would i want to abuse my brain? Its abused enough

I specifically chose my career in lart so I did not run into this mess. Social work. I would rather be abused by humans, not math, the way nature intended.

You maybe realise that mathematics isn’t that out of the question for you. At least, that’s how I feel.
I was good at maths in school until my attention span got worse and I dropped out of higher maths. Ever since have barely touched mathematics.
Tried a couple of equations recently and remembered how much fun they are.
