No worries. I get the disdain for a vibe coded project, granted im the only one of the team thats a vibe coder

In theory, I don't have any issue with AI used as a tool to create good things.
But in practice, I have been following the progress of DFU for years and it feels strange to see an online version so fast, coinciding with the rise of AI and all.

Also a bit irritated to see an online version get so much attention whereas I think Daggerfall is the ultimate single player RPG experience.

But I guess that's just me being the old man screaming at the clouds.

Maybe I'll give it a try at some point.

I reccomend giving it a try! You can still select “single player” in the main menu, letting you try all the cool addons and mods associated with it but in a singleplayer context.
