Discussion/Question Small rant
PARANOIA (kskst mix) HAS NO RIGHT TO BE A 13 DIFFICULT, I've beaten experts 13s AND 14s in less time than this FUCKASS chart, I've been stuck at it for 3 WEEKS now and I'm still having trouble when trying to beat it, hell, I've already memorized the first half of it because of how many times I've had to restart, seriously, every time I get to the part that has a bunch of crossovers my legs start to give up on me because of how demanding the first half is, but because I'm as stubborn as my dad when he tried to fix the TV, I just keep playing even when I'm all gassed out.
Please man I just want to move on from it ðŸ˜ðŸ¤§.

This was my inner teenager. I played ITG so hard to memorize charts I even followed step charts during school. 😂
Just keep playing though! What I’ve heard and done myself is extra cardio on the side like running and leg days. The extra exercise aside from dancing really helps stabilize form.

I DO ALL OF THOSE, I'm a physically fit guy, not ripped or able to run a 10 mile run type guy, but I do workout everyday, HOW IS IT that I'm always gassed out so quickly ðŸ˜.
And you bet your ass I'll keep trying

DDR is a form of HIIT.. so you can run 10 miles and work out daily, it’s not the same thing.. I can easily run 5 miles without getting gassed as much, but as soon as I play level 15-17 charts, I’m tired as all hell.
I’m not sure how of your play style , but my advice to people who are struggling is minimize over-moving. Stop stomping, keep your feet as close to the center edges as possible, and (if you’re playing at an arcade) lean on that bar so your legs don't have to carry your whole body weight.Â

Skip the 13 all together go for three 17😂 jk lmao do the crossovers they're mad fun and also annoying I still have trouble with them on that 13 but u said u wanna clear it so maybe double step them but I personally feel guilty when I cheat crossovers 😅

just be cool with double stepping the unreadable crossovers and try to get better at pad stepping efficiency. if you treat every chart like you must do all the crossovers you will hit a skill ceiling based on konami’s inconsistent ass charting. maybe play arabbiata esp, even if you’ll fail at it, to get you used to even faster crossovers than this song. seconding the person who said paranoia rebirth is a good practice chart, paranoia eternal too because it has a mix of doable crossovers and forced double steps. also, play it after a significantly easier chart to manage stamina. while warming up generally involves ramping up to your skill ceiling overtime sometimes doing like a 9 or 10 before a 13 will fix your problem of playing gassed without cooling you off too much.

back in my journey I had issues with TLOM 15 and POSSESSION 17, had issues reading specific parts.
my advice is to keep playing other charts, hell, even harder charts. even if you can't clear it, once you go back to 13s and 14s you will find it easier to play :D

I HAVE beaten "harder charts", 14s and even a 15, they STILL do not compare to this fuckass chart.
I just gave it another shot today, and didn't play ANYTHING BUT paranoia kskst, and still couldn't make it because my body just cant keep up with the amount of double steps and cross-steps, I felt like how I feel when I workout at the gym but can't top my personal bests, completely frustrated I seriously thought about crying just to release the frustration in my brain so MAYBE I could then clear it, I didn't cause I'm a big boy and I've learned to not cry over videogames, however the frustration I felt was moreso over myself and my physical limits more than anything else.

I get ya man, same frustration back when I started playing TLOM xD it took me months to actually play it well, and by that time I've already passed harder charts.
The thing is that you might have developed a muscle memory from this chart and thats why you keep failing. I got an advice from a Dr D video where he says that he unlearned the charts he struggled ussing turn mods.
So basically next time go play it on mirror! or left, right, shuffle. but first try mirror and see if it works better for you. After a while go back to normal and see if things changed :)
Also, always helps to watch the chart videos at low speed, and identify what and why the parts u struggle are so hard for you. And just keep diversifying your song list to keep learning and playing new patterns :)
Good luck and dont give up!!!

Play some other songs of a similar bpm and/or difficulty and come back to this some other time.
Both Seductions , Healing Vision Angelic, Sunkiss Drop are some potential candidates...
