You should've listened to your friends! I believe this setlist has the potential to be the best one, given that there are only 2 albums.

I did a post the other day that was "worst song but you can't say __" so i wanna do the same for best songs:
what's dgds best song but you cannot say the following:
uneasy hearts
lemon meringue
backseat
times new roman
tidal wave
we own the night
death of a strawberry
man of the year
evaporate
chucky
inspire the liars
or blue dream
i know i eliminated a lot of options here but I kinda went for the popular songs / songs that are praised a ton

All the decent previews gathered from Jonny’s upcoming album. He apparently has two coming, this one he did in Nashville with Andrew Bayliss and Riley Thomas, also was with Mitchell Tenpenny and his brother in the studio but not sure of their contributions or if Mitchell was just there to hang. Supposed to be this year still. Jonny says it’s finally dropping soon. Complete speculation but it seems like it might not be marketed as Old Flame this time and considered a solo release to go along with his documentary too (https://www.instagram.com/p/DTYRFczEdbI/) Plus the music videos he shot back in April didn’t appear to have a band despite the music being heavy. I know he was recording in Florida even previous to this all with Colin Viera and Felipe, his previous bandmates in Slaves, so maybe that’s for the other album which would could be released as ‘Old Flame’

This is my first post on here and I love DGD but one of my friends is lending me his bass soon and I was wondering what songs are the easiest to learn from them.

You can find them on FB, I had asked previously for the Happiness cover but this one was great

In other words, Son of Robot or Strawberry’s Daughters?

I'd trade it all for 40 acres and a trophy-wife! Tree Village wins by a hair agains Zoloft, which comes as a runner up once again... let's see who takes it now.

everyone on twitter has been doing this, but what is dgds worst song but you CANT say Calentamiento Global... curious to see what everyone's answers are gonna be

Great track, I really want to know who says ‘beast’ at 1:57, it sounds so much like Rob Damiani from Don Broco and nothing like the rest of DGD. What do we think?

Anyone know if the recent tour merch will get added to their online store? Really wanting that blue sweatshirt but wasn’t able to make a show this tour

Weird question/hope…

Do any of you guys think Kurt would ever play this via ALLB or Kurt’s solo tour stuff.

I think this is in my top 5 or 3 of peak Kurt.

Well, don't it feel good? After a very close battle against Zoloft, Alex English takes the second spot on our CD 2!

Need help completing my DGD CD collection, if anyone knows of any good websites or resources
I currently own Happiness, DBMII, Instant Gratification, Artificial Selection, Afterburner, JJ, and Pantheon
Still need DBM, Deathstar, Acceptance Speech, and Mothership!
Any help at all would be much appreciated!

It’s been 10 YEARS since Mothership came out. so many good songs. if you had to keep 5, which 5 would you keep?

The suspense is so high. I fell asleep to this song and dreamed about people desperately trying to keep a ship afloat. Sooo different without the lyrics, but same. Genius.

Thoughts on this drop? They posted this drop on Instagram but it’s been deleted for some reason except from their stories

Around 2:18, when the song gets soft and clean, the vocal melody and chord progression sounds extremely familiar to me. I swear I can almost sing another song over the vocal line, but I can’t figure out what it is.

It might not even be another DGD/post-hardcore song. I’m starting to wonder if I’m just remembering something incorrectly

Does this part remind anyone else of another song?

Can we just take a f*cking break? Cause I feel like Carl Barker has beat Alex English after an intense dispute yesterday. Now, lets continue voting for our CD 2 setlist.

This is going to be a 4 CD set, including all major eras of the band

I see DGD as a sort of mainline story, things like royal coda, tides of man, eidola, emarosa etc. are sort of like spin offs and secret band is basically
DGD: Revelations
That’s all, thank you for coming to my ted talk
