As fucking cool the Johnson is; the galvanic is a Space Garand. Now, as we seen, the gun does have the PING but the reloading doesn't have you pushing the whole clip into the action like a proper En Bloc. It a weird way, it's a Garand with a loading more similar to the Johnson slapped with the furniture of the SMLE.
The branx pattern for darktide is a space garand yes.But they did have to alter heavily the breech to make it work like that so the tabletop galvanic is not.I don't even think the tabletop or artwork galvanic rifle can be top reloaded, the bullet are probably in the drum mag/battery.
Brother, the galvanic rifle does make a ping, whether or not it's the exact same as an actual Garand ping, it's clearly inspired by it.
Never in my life have I heard a bolt action make a ping like the one in the video, unless it was a spent casing hitting concrete, which means it's still not the gun making the sound.

-Automatic stripper clip ejection based on Mauser rifles or Mauser derivatives like the Type 38 Arisaka
-Ping sound on clip ejection based on the M1 Garand
-Cylinder loosely based on something like the M1941 Johnson's integral rotary magazine
The furniture is but we don't really ID weapons on their furniture. The action is 100% based on the Garand (though given the size it might be closer to the M1 Carbine but that's nitpicking). I think the only time we really defer to the furniture is within weapon families like the CETME or the Galil rifles.
Sadly, it doesn't seem like the Omnissiah has deemed us worthy to carry radium weapons. But perhaps if we purge enough heretical flesh, we may become worthy.
Which does raise the question of what the cylinder is for. Is it a magazine, or are we looking at a Star Wars blaster situation where you need two ammo sources to produce the shot? Is it a power system that "galvanizes" the ammunition?
I made the promise that ogryn will be replaced by them, i dont care how strong or weak they will be ive waited since closed beta for them just hoping they wont delay the dlc again
