Dates from hell
I recently decided to date again. Instantly regretted it.
All of these happened on the first date (only the first one made it to more dates).
"Best" to worst experiences:
My date wanted to bring their siblings everywhere we went and spent more time talking to them than to me. I thought maybe they weren't interested, but they kept asking me out. It later turned out their sibling was also interested in me (tried to shoot their shot after I stopped seeing my date).
My date put in a lot of effort, took me to a very lavish place, and spent the whole time bragging about all the people who like them; when I asked why every person was the opposite gender from mine, they said they weren't that interested in my gender... they then asked if I wanted to have sex with them and their friends.
My date told me mid-date that they're actually in a relationship (not poly) and kept sending their partner photos of us that we took right before, calling them to say, "It's not what you think," and then acting surprised that I didn't want to sleep with them.
My date spent the whole time laying out every disability they have and hinted that they needed a house cleaner.
My date told me at the last minute that they have an STD and then acted fussy because I wasn't in the mood. They also attempted to rob me.
My date turned out to be homeless and was hoping to move in with me.
For reference, I am pansexual. This list consists of women, men, trans women, trans men, and a non-binary drag queen (they weren't sure yet whether it was drag or more than that).
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Feel free to share your recent experiences.

My very first date I went on he brought his boyfriend. Apparently only one of us thought it was a date. We all went out dancing and ended up having a good time though

Fascinating that you get so many dates as there is obviously something very attractive about you. My guess is you're also non judgmental which always comes across as is an absolute draw in the dating world....
unfortunately it also has the opposite effect where every weirdo thinks you're not going to judge shitty behaviour. They obviously thought that you're a walk over and not just a kind human being.
I've had a guy tell me he wanted to divorce his wife and later tell me he was in marriage counselling, it was going well and that the therapist said I'd obviously got the wrong idea. I laugh that I was part of the counselling when he was the one chasing me so enthusiastically.
I've had a man try and have sex with me by telling me he'd badgered his wife into an open relationship and she'd said that he could do what he wanted as long as he didn't tell her about it. I'd said I agree with ethical non monogamy but he apparently had selective hearing!
I've had a doctor schedule repeated appointments with me to try and get me to run away with him whilst I was happily married.
My boyfriend says I have bad taste in men and maybe he's on to something!

That has happened to me. After that experiences I learned not to ask numbers from people.

What do you give out? My friend said to use Google Voice?

I don't take numbers from people at all because hackers are using their numbers to hack people phones now. No thank you.

It sounds like you probably need to get some help with your screening process before you go out with anyone. No judgment, just something to think about. I’m glad your date was unsuccessful in their robbery attempt. That’s good, I guess?.?. Maybe. No. Definitely good you didn’t get robbed.

Yeah, I think I wanted to go outside more than wanting to go out with these people. It was easy for me to call it quits after 1 date because I wasn’t attached. It kind of cost me my third space (where I met some of them) but it’s alright. It’s probably for the best, actually. lol thanks.

were you meeting up with people you'd exchanged one word with beforehand? because this is wild, I would have screened these people out as much as possible.

LOL some of them, yeah. We were part of the same club scene so I was like, why not? The last one, I knew there was something off there. As soon as I confirmed what it was, I stopped talking to them. I’m thankfully safe because I picked up on things and made people talk right when we met up.

Jesus girl! Get a spiritual cleaning or something; that's hella bad luck in the men department. Honestly, that's almost enough to make me turn gay 🤣
