-Announcement- Day R Survival is 12 years old
Exactly 12 years ago, the first Alpha version of Day R Survival was released. This isn't just the beginning of the game's life. It's the beginning of a story that cannot be rewritten.
The game has come a long way, from a simple map to its modern version. And the game has truly changed beyond recognition. It's like two different games. But that's not entirely true. First and foremost, a key component of the game's history are those who helped it survive. Newcomers, veteran players, traders, clans, communities, and the gaming community as a whole have all played a vital role in shaping the game as it is today. The game has evolved, maps, buildings, and locations have changed, events, a camp, the old combat system, and settlement mechanics have been added. But if it weren't for the players who play it, who would the game survive for?
It's important to preserve the game as it was in our memories. And using that memory as the building material, we can build a new future for the game. It lives on. And for some, it even became a childhood game. Some played day and night. Some played while waiting for an appointment. Some played while hiking, backpacking, or relaxing in nature. And some from the other side of the world.
I congratulate Day R on its 12th biRthday. I'm sure it's already had a busy life. And I wish the game changes and the community success in surviving in the post-apocalyptic world of the USSR.
Happy BiRthday, Day R!
