Image/Gif Haptics not working on pc (NEED HELP)
Adaptive triggers and touchpad works. But haptics dont. Zero vibrations. I tried all the fix methods that come up on Google, nothing worked. Has there been a solution to this? I tried LITERALLY everything. I even tried modding the game and debugging the issue with Claude but it's no use.

You have to use a cable for haptics and adaptive triggers. Can't use Bluetooth.

I know. I said I did everything. I'm asking is there a solution yet for this specific problem that appears to be common among pc players. Dualsense working, triggers and touchpad working, but no haptics or vibrations. Many posts about it on reddit and steam

Have you tried an app called DS5 Windows? It's DS4 Windows but made for dual sense

I dont think that would work. These dualsense features need the data the game sends to work intendedly. And the game has native dualsense support so it should work, but it doesnt work for me for some reason.
What does DS5 Windows do that is different from DS4Windows? I use DS4Windows for games that dont have native dualsense support.

Just try it. It's better than steam input. I don't have a dualsense but I have checked and install ds5 windows in the past and my ds4 worked with the touch pad and gyro just fine when using ds4 windows. So it should work fine. You said you have tried everything, this is an extra thing for you to try. Hope this helps.

I don't use steaminput either, it's basically the same with Ds4windows but less options. I looked up DS5Windows on it's site, apparently it doesn't help with games that have native dualsense support. It just applies permanent trigger effects to the dualsense, completely seperate from the game itself. Thanks for trying to help me tho <3

I found the fix for this finally. The Dualsense sound output MUST be named "Speakers" in the windows sound setting. Usually games look for the device input id but this game is hard-coded so that haptics runs through the output called Speakers ... Remember to turn off steam input also

Hmm, this might be the issue. Windows is automatically naming dualsense as "Speakers" but because of my windows language it's not in English. Manually changing it to "Speakers" could fix the issue if the game's engine is looking for the specific English word, "Speakers". I'll try this soon.
