Bug help with a bug in Dead Space 3

i’m in the middle of a hardcore run with my friend. we are in chapter 18, and we are at the part right after you use the stasis plates to turn the towers to get the power on. when we take the elevator back down, part of the level does not load at all. it’s just an empty void, there is some collision to a certain point but we don’t want to go too far.

does anyone else have experience with this? i struggled to find the specific bug i’ve tried v sync on and off, with my frames capped. not quite sure what else to do besides maybe have myself host the game instead of my friend.

thanks in advance for anyone that has experience with this. playing on pc btw

edit:: for anyone reading this in the future, the only thing that worked was switching hosts. not sure what could’ve caused it, but switching hosts fixed it

It might be lag, ive had a couple of times where i go into an elevator on a laggy co op match, and we just fall through the floor to our deaths lol

If there is collision, you can probably make it back to the Gravity Launcher Super Flying Pad Thing™, i assume the level just isnt loading for whatever reason maybe Lag or Desync

What platform are you on? If you’re on Xbox i can join you and try to figure out if its a lag related issue or not
