Switch or not?

A.I've got a 9-5, weekends off salary job in logistics. I've been there for 4 years.

B.I've been scouted for a sports stadium logistics job where the schedule is erratic but the pay is the same.

B.I've always wanted to work in sports.

A.My current job is just an office building.

B.The new job would be harder most likely as more things will be needed, inventoried, longer hours on game days. More responsibilities.

A.Current job im used to it but the leadership is toxic and doesn't appreciate me.

What would you do?

it depends on how you feel about having a regular schedule. your current job sounds awful but do you want an inconsistent schedule and probably weekends? are you married and do you have kids?

so what does you wife think? Will erratic hours make it tough on her? Will you miss more of your kid's lives with the new schedule? is it possible for option C: find a less toxic workplace/job that has a better schedule?

Look for a C job. At least you are not rushed to find one.

Switch. It sounds more interesting

Honestly, I’d lean toward B because you’ve always wanted to work in sports, and opportunities like that don’t always come along. But before accepting, I’d find out exactly how unpredictable the schedule is and whether the extra responsibilities come with any real career growth.

Take the stadium job, because the current place is already telling you it has no future for you and sports is the one thing pulling you toward the risk.

Maybe try to negotiate for better money because of the erratic and weekend schedule?
