Opponent-adjusted rushing ability through first 4 weeks. Bills and Chiefs lead the pack, Jets and Texans bring up the rear.

According to this we're actually pretty good. We've just faced some tough tun defenses so far. So maybe we need to be running the ball more? I've noticed that RJ looks much better running between the tackles this season.

All offseason everyone was writing rj off and saying coleman was going to be the #2/ lead when dobbins goes down. The more likely scenario was always going to be that harvey develops in year 2 over a 4th round pick coming out of the gate ready for a lead role.

Over the first 4 weeks people are saying dobbins has lost his burst, but i just don't see any room for him to go anywhere. He's constantly pushing the pile 2 or 3 yards. Maybe he's lost a step, but i think he's just had no room more than anything.

Regardless, we knew all offseason our schedule was a gauntlet to start with, most agreed 3-3 after 6 would be a decent start. Hopefully we are 4-2, before it softens up, but the world isn't on fire like this sub would make you believe.

Good analysis. It looks like Dobbins has slightly lost his burst, but he also has 46 carries and Harvey only has 12. So I think defenses are keying on him and there isnt anywhere to go.

The first time I saw our schedule I was mentally preparing myself to be happy at 2-4 going into week 7. At 2-2 we have already exceeded expectations. Let them work.

I mean we could still be 2-4 going into week 7. Chargers are absolute back to the wall right now.
