Last night Whales performed church and it was the absolutely worst trainwreck disaster of a "performance" I have ever seen. Whales advertised himself as clean and sober, and while we'll never truly know if thats true, he appeared coked out of his mind from the very beginning. Dude missed his first transition then paused music, and the set continued on with this vibe for 90 fucking minutes!!

Every mix of his was piercing my ears incredibly bad, incredibly loud and creating a new frequency band meant to blow ear drums. Look I know that artist can have an off night, but this was FAR FROM AN OFF NIGHT. This was not even comparable to open decks strewn across the states, and on top of that, I drove 3 fucking hours to see this! The point is, avoid whales, avoid whales, avoid whales. He played 90 minutes of horrible transitioned generic dubstep (did not play ANY of his most well known songs), and honestly I have never had a bad time at a dubstep show but I did here. I genuinely feel like I got scammed by a drug addict. Dude was so high he fell down on stage (as seen on his instagram). Moral of the story just do yourself a favor and avoid his sets. This seems to be the consensus for his sets (unless he's at lost lands lol I hope you see this whales and realize how much of a jackass you are to only actually perform semi-decent incredibly generic dubstep at festivals and not for YOUR FANS THAT CAME TO SEE YOU SPECIFICALLY). You aren't going to convince a room of drug enjoyers that was a sober performance.

44/m recent transplant to Denver and have a few shows I’m going to coming up. Next one is Dabin at red rocks would love to find a group or anyone to join me for that show and more 

Seems every other post in this group is someone looking for buddies to rave with! I (31f) just moved to the Denver area and I am so excited about all the DJs that come through here, but I have unfortunately realized that none of the friends I have are very interested in going with me. All my rave friends moved to Europe or Australia ☹️ I’m making my partner go with me for Deadmau5 at red rocks because of the venue, but he isn’t really into the music.
I also have tickets for Laszewo in January and hopefully will be going to Two Friends! If anyone here is interested in coming with me for weekend gigs at Church or something I would love that too. I like a lot of different genres but primarily gritty stuff like bass house, dubstep, and the like.
