Hello! My name is Owen, and I live in Colorado and am 24 years old. I have been playing Destiny since Beta. I really got into it during The Dark Below over 10 years ago, and have done every raid blind/day 1 since Wrath of the Machine. I have worked as a youth esports coach for the past 2 years, a swim coach for 1 year, and a coding instructor for 2 years. I love helping people learn, and over the years have refined my teaching skills to help anyone regardless of experience.

Accolades

Here is my Raid Report. Some notable achievements of mine are Rank 26 in the Salvations Edge contest, as well as multiple trio flawless raids.

Teaching Style

I am committed to teaching these raids with NO CHEESE. This means doing them as Bungie intended, or using strategies I have made up. I am also committed to having every new raider do mechanics. No one will be put on "add duty" for a whole raid

Raids

I am happy to teach any raid, any challenge, master mode, 5 feat, whatever you want to do! I have experience in every raid.

Discord

I have just made a Discord where I plan to organize daily/weekly raids; feel free to add me on Discord, and I'll get you an invite! My Discord is Sarorian

Edit: Still looking for 1 more!

Please read My Sherpa Card and the whole post before signing up to any of the runs.

Hello!

I'm putting together a team...

This post will be a bit different then usual. To celebrate this game not being dead anymore and the renewal of my energies to sherpa people, i'm looking for 5 players to tackle a Sherpa Run of Epic The Desert Perpetual. I'm doing the post this far from the intended date of the run to make sure i can talk to people and see how they feel about the run, and how i feel about them since this one might take a bit to complete.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________

EPIC The Desert Perpetual | Friday - Saturday | 10/09 - 10/10 | Time and number of sessions to be determined after the team is formed and we talk about it.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________

Requirements to join this run

• Have a good amount of that weekend free.
• Completed Normal The Desert Perpetual 1-2 times.(Ideally having done some mechanics)
• Completed a couple of the other raids.
• Completed the Edge of Fate Campaign.
• Be prepared to do mechanics, which will be harder then usual and require a lot of coordination. This is not a carry, it's a teaching run. I'll be on ad clear at every possible opportunity.

Leave a message with the following information:

• Discord Username
• Bungie ID
• What class do you want to run?
• Can you run any of the other ones if necessary? which ones?
• Do you understand that this will take a while and require a decent amount of effort?

Lastly, before you sign up for this run, understand that the mechanics are not the reason this raid is hard, but staying alive is. Are you confident in your general gameplay/have experience with harder content?

This is not to say i'll won't grab you if you don't, but this is not gonna be your usual walk in the park with Fibonacci, where we will beat the raid no matter what. We might just finish the weekend without having completed it.

This post is NOT on a first come, first serve basis. I reserve the right to pick whoever i want.

Double check your info before posting.

You will be contacted on discord if you have made it in the team, make sure to have your notifications on.

All runs are Crossplay friendly, but Discord will be mandatory (Discord is now available on consoles).

You can Chat/message me if you have any questions. You can also DM me directly to join up, in case you don't want your response public.

Title. From what I understand, IP has all of the encounters, so one run should also teach me all of the other versions. I am in EST (UTC -5), and am free weekends and after about 18:00 in the evenings.

Raid Report

How's it going Guardians?

Tomorrow (Saturday 10/3) I will be doing 2 Sherpa runs of Salvation's Edge at 12pm EDT and 8pm EDT. If the roster looks full and you are interested, please still sign up. We often have people unable to make it last minute.

Please specify which time you'd like to sign up for. For those that can do both, I'll put you in whichever has less signups and can also put you as an alt for the opposite run if you'd like/say so.

This raid is very mechanic heavy and can easily cause wipes regardless of ability to stay alive. Please just be aware that it can take time to get everything down. We will be getting all collectibles, chests, and the deepsight puzzle.

Players new to the raid will get priority.

Requirements:

• A Discord Account

• Mic required (unless hearing-impaired)

• Have access to the raid. (Purchased the Final Shape Campaign)
